I go to the gym alot and my issue with all straighteners is, I usually work up a heavy sweat everyday, this means I have to straighten my hair everyday. I really hate to constantly put heat on my hair on a regular basis like this but its the only way I can achieve the straight look. With the Feather Flat will I be able to cut my heat usage in half? Or will I have to use it everyday?

@SandiiSoCal Hello, that is a great question. My Feather Flat Iron performs a procedure called "Thermal Relaxing". This means that when you correctly use the Feather Flat Iron you will only have to use heat every (3) weeks to a month. The reason for this is that my iron gets closer to the scalp than any iron in the world allow your hair to not revert back as quickly as a electric or marcel type flat iron. Milstan

I don't have the visual proof that the mistan works on course hair, however, I know that it does. I went natural over 2 years ago and I had the course hair known to man. However, once I stop relaxing my hair it begin to take on a differnt nature and is no longer as course. The milstan is what got me through the transition of going natural. You should have a electric oven so that you can heat up the Milstan Irons with a consistant heat source.
