Isn't the archer in the Ragged Flagon Cistern (Thieves Guild) an even better option. His name is Cynric Endell.

I suppose if you are not doing Guild quests, than this is a viable option instead. But I think if you ARE in the guild, trying this approach on Cynric is a better way to go because he rapid fires about 10-15 arrows in one sitting at his target. You'll get your arrows MUCH quicker.

@TheLeapstar It's cause you need to be pickpocket level 100 with the final perk to be able to pickpocket his equipped arrows. Another way around that is to wait that he finishes and follow him to where he sleeps. From there you can pickpocket the arrows since they are unequipped

@TheLeapstar Bro place something in the pocket/backpack then wait till they go to sleep then go to were they sleep find the one you put the stuff in then take it back the item back if you want then take his arrows and replace it with the one's you wont to dubliecate.

true but that means a weaker bow attack with each shot.  Smithing and archery skill makes for a MUCH more powerful "sniper"

@CERap22 when at lvl100 of both conjuration and archery, a mystic binded bound bow can almost match a legendary no enchanted glassbow. It's a much better option at low levels for a summon/necro archer build, with soul stealer you can pretty much capture every soul you came across, if you have gems for them of course.

@XxstrangecreaturexX because you need 100 pickpocketing in order to switch them out. Someone also posted that you can switch the arrows while he sleeps i havent tried that out yet

You don´t need the last perk. Just get a fortify pickpocket amulet and a ring with the same. Then go down to the dungeon where the guards sleep. Take their steel arrows and add ONE of the type of arrow you want, then they use it when they go out for practice again. Just did it, i´m only at lvl 37 on pickpocketing.

@QcOncleGab yeah if you switch out the arrows hes got equiped he will forever shoot that kind and you can get infinite of them
