i wonder why bandai didn't make new gundam X kits. i like x and dx model. would love to see bandai make new kits for this. either in mg or rg.

I think a MG version of the X would use an inner frame similar to Wing or F91, a new mount mechanism, a cleaner look with less panel lines, and anime accurate colors. Although I would keep the shiny panels that make up the Satellite Weapon system.

the green part for the chest isn't supposed to stick out like that. You have to push the part in.

1/144 of this kit was my first kit. And I got the 1/100 X-divider and use the left over shoulder gun from the X on the 1/144.

There's a HG 1/100 kit of the first Virsago, and in 1/144 they have an Ashtaron, and both Virsago and Virsago Chest Break.

I have to admit, this kit is better than I would have thought. Really like the chrome accents and the look of the weapons system. And, if I'm not mistaken, I think those clear green parts will glow under blacklight (in case anyone cares to know). Good review!

There is no MG of any of the Gundam X suits, and nothing announced for the future. Also, no V Gundam, or Gundam Wing (outside of EW).

I love that you do these kind of reviews once in a while and not just the new kits...maybe I'm being naive, but I hope that ppl who are into gunpla but haven't seen the older series get interested in them through the Mobile Suits that you review.

Overall I don't like this kit very much (seems kinda toyish) but I don't hate it either. The chrome parts and the satellite are unique.
