DC constantly has protests. The post office in my town has protests often (i've heard, but I rarely go over there). Texas news bashes cops when they commit acts of violence, often blaming it on race (unless they are protesters). Although we have people who support ron paul, so not too suprising. Problem is people cant stick with an issue or they have no clue what their issue is.

Honestly I couldn't name every country in the UK. I can however say England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Fawkland, Virgin Islands.
All of these countries are part of the UK, but not all of them are in Britain.
People are confused because Britain and United Kingdom are used interchangably.

@leeham991 The United Kingdom isn't the Empire. There isn't an Empire any more, but there is a commonwealth (Australia, Canada, New Zealand etc) and other overseas territories (like the Falklands).
The UK is the union of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It's a country of four countries.
So Great Britain is more of a geographic term whereas the UK is a political term. England is just one of the countries in the UK.
