Adults who abuse usually have come from an abusive household or situation where someone was abusive to them as a child. It is deep-seeded and something that can only be overcome thru therapy. Unfortunately, abusers are usually attracted to each other. For example: If Rihanna was emotionally abused as a kid and in her past relationships she will dish out abuse (Emotional or Physical) as well as accept it
