Lol, easy as hell. Go to Doma Castle island and kill 4 green enemies and you get 10000+exp per batle, with exp egg or something you get 2x exp OMGOMGOMG
Hmm, never thought to do that...The place i found to be good for leveling up was the path to the Ancient Ruins. You get, if I remember correctly, 700-1140 exp. per battle and no less than 3 magic points...Then at the castle you can fight a machine (forgot it's name :/, similar to Death Machine in FF1 i guess) to get 6 magic points, or fight 4 weird box-looking monsters to get 8 magic points $.$ you learn spells quickly that way, and the experience is good :D

Well, If you want AP, go to Cactuars *Maranda Desert*. You get 10 AP but no EXP.
