What a divine voice! Too bad DV died young, but even in his 35 years, he has left a legacy not many can achieve---soulful singing, a voice that touches you all around, perfectly modulated cadences. Note the simple phrasing of "ga ma, pa ma" that recurs in this version of Gaud Malhar--melodious blending of two melodies, absolutely seamless. Thanks for this wonderful rendition.
What a loss to the world of Hindustani classical vocal music when in 1955 Pandit DV Paluskar died at young age of just 34, when he was at the peak of his career and the most popular Classical music cum Bhajan singer i.e. (2 in one singer) amongst masses. His singing of Khayal here is exemplary and divine in beauty melody, Boltaans and Sapaat Taans. His style of Boltaans was unique, swift and not heard now,

Thanks for these beautiful renderings by a master who unfortnately died at a very early age. His music is divine.
