  • the 30 second version of this video has been copied from my Packard bell all the way up to my current windows 7 computer with little luck finding the full version of it ...so glad its up now thanks for posting

  • Also is just me but, have times changed SO much in just 20 yrs? Back then it serms like the skys were bluer, the grass greener, and we kids were innocent, today kids are so destructive and hateful, hell people in general. I grew up in ferndale WA, snd this song was around the start of the grunge rock period which was born up in WA state, i think this band definately has the early "grunge" sound....

  • WooHOO! Damn, I thought i was the ONLY person in the world who knew about this song, i walked around for 20 years thinking i had this big secret that NooNE else knew about HAHAHA! wow what memories, btw my pc was a packard bell too, remember how they always broke because packard bell used refurbished parts on their pc's ( "pieces of Crap" ) We should start a club or something, also one more thing, this IS a good song!

  • @TheFishegg damn dude that is scary, i thought the same thing. before the days of youtube and all you had was a 9600baud modem with a million free AOL minutes, so this stuff on the packard bell cd was all you had ! and yes packard bell sucked but made a ton of 486s

  • Packard Bell Legend 2000 was my first computer!

  • Hell yes!

  • Wow, the whole thing! Thanks dude, I've been looking for this video for a long time.

  • And now some new band has run off with that name "The Holidays"!!! Lawsuit!

  • Geeezus - I can't believe that was 20 years ago...

  • Likewise got hooked on the song and Allison (sorry Michael). Funny thing was I did a lookup on them the other day just to see what was crackin'. I live in Southern California and don't know crap, but I'm thinking this might be them?: (look up Heavenly Pastry on Ggle and/or do an image search. Sux that I can't post a link).

Who doesn't love a love story. Looks like they're still together.

  • I love this song. I got it on my old Packard Bell computer in 1994 with windows 3.11 and have never found anything else about the song. Glad you posted!! Whatever happened to the band?

  • @rendlerendle was it the 486 SX navigator

  • This is the second time in my life I've heard the non-microsoft version of this song. First time was in a Pizzaria Uno on 2nd around 10th street (closed down years ago). 2 or 3 people there were "hey, it's the computer song" too. Thanks for uploading this! ^_^

  • You, sir or madam... are a GOD (or goddess).

  • the lead signer used to rmind me of Ray Romano

  • A 30 second clip of this song came on a CD with my VERY FIRST PC! I have loved that 30 seconds for the last 20 years! Finally I get to hear/see the entire number ... thanks so much, Dewey! Now the next step is to get this song on iTunes or tell me how to get an MP3. 20 years ... now THAT is one devoted fan! Thanks again!

  • @midiman56 hah! yeah! the 30 second clip of this song has periodically resurfaced in my mind many times since seeing the video on the old HP PC about maybe 15 (?) years ago. nice guitar melody. I think the heavy reverb somehow makes it exceptionally memorable. good song. funny vid.

  • Thank you Dewey! Been waiting a LONG time to see the whole thing. Octopus of Love and Baby-A Goes to Bombay get major playtime on the ol' ipod.

  • The entire video!!! Such a great song...remember listening to this with my brother growing up.Thanks so much for the post. Everyday is a Holiday.
