Do you think acrylics would work alright? I've just been commissioned to do a window painting and all I've worked on is canvas! (: Rain is no issue so I hope it works...
What kind of paint is she using? Acrylics or poster colours? From what i can see is that she s painting the window from the outside, what if it rains? Thanks
Hi again Kim, I have a few more questions for you. Do you have any special recommendations for which brushes to use? What is it you like about the Dayglo paint? Do you offer any kind of teaching on this subject. I'd really like to get started this fall. I really like your style. Would you mind if I do some of your "paintings"? Thanks again! Sincerely Lisa A.
P.S. Your camera man gives really great commentary!
P.S.S. I thought it was cute that he filmed you doing all the berries :)
We have a base charge of $100 that includes up to 4 windows and a basic character. We add about $20 per window for larger stores. Usually, we refer our clients to a window cleaner who can remove the painting when the season is over. We don't clean the windows ourselves, but some painters do, especially when they are just getting started.
Thanks for your comments. We're glad you enjoyed the video.
Dear Kim, Thank you so much for sharing your talent this way. I so appreciate the descriptions and references of resources that you give thru out your videos. I am hoping to do this kind of work soon myself. I have a couple of questions that maybe you would be willing to shed some light on. #1. How do you determine pricing? #2. How do you deal with the taking down of the signs when the event is over? Thank you again. Sincerely, Lisa A.

@76realty Why do you charge so little?...........that's why you ruin the market for other painters!
