You played it well! That's an admirable feat for any guitarist, period. Relaxation (esp in your left hand) would probably lend to the authenticity, but what a beautiful song. I love this perhaps more than any other classical guitar piece.
Excellent job. The only thing I would recommend is trying to relax when you play it. I played this so many times at a really slow tempo and I find that the more relaxed I am, the better and smoother it sounds. Good luck!
PAT yourself on the back-mate! Yes, it needs refinment...but that will come. Curses to Franco for that ninth fret barre-which I find agony! I cheat in the second measure-and play the D and E on the V11 fret!
Better than busting my ageing hand!
I'd rather see someone like you experiencing the difficulties-than watching flawless performances by Segovia et al-
Cheers for the worthwhile comment, I really love this song. The hardest part for me when I first started learning it was probably the transition into that F maj on the 8th fret, my fingers just seemed too cramped!
I'm yet to find another piece to learn which has the same impact on me, any suggestions?

I stongly suggest you play with your thumb out in front more, it'll help with your speed. And don't cover the soundhole so much.
