@MonsterMalarkey The Pokémon Trainer catches his Pokémon in Story Mode one after the other. So indeed you start only with Squirtle. It's a nice nod to the gameplay of Pokémon, so don't be to disappointed. ^^

The trainer from FireRed and LeafGreen represents the classic Pokémon games (1st Generation) and the newer games (3rd Generation) at the same time. That's the reason they chose him, because he represents ten years of Pokémon history. ;)

are you kidding me? that's not how you glide, that's how you fly upwards... me meant glide to the side. to do that, you hold the jump button...so basically on the wii controller you hold c and charizard will glide until he touches a surface.

I'm not good with PKMN Trainer, but my first Pokemon was Charmander in Pokemon Blue 10 years ago when I was 9 and it evolved into my beloved Charizard named Blue. Years later when I was about 15, I was messing with the game and I accidently released Blue, gone forever. I was sad because I just lost a part of my childhood, even if it was just data. But no matter how bad I am with PKMN Trainer now, I'll work hard and master it so I can fight alongside Charizard once again in dedication to Blue.

they would be doing their three stereotypical attacks: Fire Blast, Hydro Pump and Solarbeam. I think it would be awesome if you'd start out with Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur, then they'd evolve when you use the Pokemon Trainer for a certain total amount of time.
