One of the most painful things in the world is losing your best friends. The ones who stand beside you fighting along side you. For the same reasons. To protect their friends and family back home. And as much as it kills me to realize it, not everyone makes it back. It hurts, and that's for sure. Especially when it's your brother, or even your friend who's close to a brother and when they die something in you dies. But you have to keep on going because that's what they'd want.
My family is a military family my father was wounded and my sister is in the navy and one of my brothers is in the air forces and then my other brother is in the arny and i am a air cadet and will be in the army when i am older my brother and sister are coming home but as of right now they are still there hope they are home for christmas God bless all of our troops

@ryno2417 hey, two things, 1) thank you for serving and 2) does the usmc have a height requirement? cuz i turn 16 in 2 months and im only lik 5' 6"-5'9" and 150 lbs. and iv been planning to join the marnes for at least 5 years.
@jdincc1 Um, im not in the marines, im about to join next year. But, from all my research, there isnt a height requirments, and if you are too skinny they put you on a bigger ration of food, if you are over weight they put you on a diet. So yea, Good luck man haha...Ima need luck lol...

@brucepjfd lol youll get bulk fuel. when you enlist in the Marines, you get the field you ask for. 13 would be the engineer field, then they place you in the ones they want you in. 1371 combat engineer, but the ones that get fucked get 1391 bulk fuel. good luck with that, those guys arnt very happy and generally get into fights/arrested on the daily.

After watching these videos it always makes me want to try harder and make damn sure that i will get done what I say i will do. I might not be able to make a difference like our military does, but I inspire people everyday with what I can still do, and I owe it all to these fine men and women over seas and still in training that give me the confidence to keep going.

I'm joining the army after high school this year, cant wait to go but at the same time its scary thinkin about it. Proud to live and if it came to it die for this country. my cousin's plane lands back home in two days. he is returning from a one year tour in Afghanistan. I thank god for people like him willing to fight for us, and I thank god that he has survived to come back to us.

@jdincc1 Um, im not in the marines, im about to join next year. But, from all my research, there isnt a height requirments, and if you are too skinny they put you on a bigger ration of food, if you are over weight they put you on a diet. So yea, Good luck man haha...Ima need luck lol...

@brucepjfd lol youll get bulk fuel. when you enlist in the Marines, you get the field you ask for. 13 would be the engineer field, then they place you in the ones they want you in. 1371 combat engineer, but the ones that get fucked get 1391 bulk fuel. good luck with that, those guys arnt very happy and generally get into fights/arrested on the daily.

I'm joining the army after high school this year, cant wait to go but at the same time its scary thinkin about it. Proud to live and if it came to it die for this country. It makes me sick when people say that you are stupid or worthless for fighting for their asses in a hell hole that they couldnt even imagine. I am currently Enlisted in the Marine Corps, people do support us its just people look at us as if all we do is kill to get paid. We fight for the freedoms our Great country has. If most people walked in a soldiers shoes some might not be able to handle it. But let me tell you this its horrific. You ought to thank our men and women fighting for this country. They see and expeirence things God never intended. No one should have to do what they do. But they do it anyways. In 2 years im going to be a proud United States Marine. Our men and women sacrafise everything for a reason. Why are our troops hated,disrespected, and forgotten about? They give all so we dont have too. Athletes are treated as heores and are idolized by the American civilization. Why dont we idolize our soldiers? for they are the real heroes. If you dont support our troops,stand in front of them. if you think freedom is free stand beside a fighting soldier,or stand next to the grave of a fallen soldier and remember freedom is never free. Thank you to all soldiers past and present for your sacrafice.

@dipheads95 i agree with you buddy we are over their fighting for freedom and when we get back its like we are the bad guys mean while we are just doing our jobs over their but you wanna know somthing im proud of what im fighting for over their im proud to have and still do searve with such great men and women im a proud soldier and ill never stop being proud i enlisted so my little brother wouldent have to deal with this crap when he is older but it just dont seem like thats gona happen

@josh2012man ay man i wanna thank you for your service to our nation. I respect and honor yall more than anything else in this world. Im a proud American and im even prouder to have soldiers like you fighting for us. i aint but 15 but as soon as im eligible i plan on enlistin in the army. once again thank you for what you do.

@dipheads95 hey man dont thank me its my job i do it becasue over their their less fortionet than us they have poor liveing conditions little to no clean water suply and their goverment is not right but as long as im their all im doing is my job and what my goverment pays me to be their fighting is NOTHING! compaired to the pay i receive the real pay i receive is knowing im over their fighting for freedom and peace knowing im doing my duty to make a difference never ben prouder in my life

@dipheads95 have of the people hate us to be honest i talked to a couple that hated me because i went over there they despised me told me i was a murderer and yet i stood there and took everything they said to me and after they were done i saluted to them and told them i did what i was told to do even if that meant saving lives at home i would go back if i did not have a messed up leg i would of been proud to go back and fight again to everyone out there yall come home -Semper Fidelis-

@dipheads95 I have no respect for troops now adays becasue freedom is in the country... it has nothing to do with war. Freedom is an easy stupid excuse to start fighting. World war 2 was a meaningful war so fighting for freedom actualy counted. Right now all the wars in diffrent countries is just nonsence. We arn't fighting for our freedom were fighting for oil and respect (from other countries) Right now the troops are immature legal murders.

@the5445 The government doesn't give a shit if people die becasue they always have more people to send out. Fighting is something drunks do at bars, it shouldn't be a national, or even global thing.

@the5445 our troops arent the ones that got us in these wars. our government is responsible for that. the soldiers are just doing their job man and what they do deserves the respect of every American.

@dipheads95 true enough... but the reason why im not a troop is simply becuase organized legal war isn't right. If I expect to kill people, I would expect to die simply because killing only gets you killed...Why risk taking your life when you might have a family. War isn't as simple as "doing your job" It involves killing people intentionaly which is wrong in every religion, every right, and every situation. I thought America was so strict on the bible...on the new testament.......

@the5445 "an eye for an eye" is from the old testament and it's moraly wrong to kill people only because it's your job. You can chose what you want to do in life, and if "your job" involves you to kill people and your ok with it, I think your stupid, disrespectful, and you need help. Im Canadian by the way and I have no respect to any troop/soldier in war right now.

@the5445 look every man has rights and ill respect that but think what would you do if while you where on vacation or something the place where your family lives was attacked and all of them were killed plus if its moraly wrong then so is al-queda and the taliban at least the U.S. will take prisoners and let them live terrorist dont.

@twilight30ful I understand what your sayin about people havin rights, but two wrongs dont make a right. If my family was killed, I would be very angry, but I don't think I would be stupid enough to hate the people who killed them enough to get revenge. And if I did want ot get revenge on them, I wouldn't want to be respected becuase it was a very spiteful, disrespectable childish act to get revenge. Im not in elementry school anymore...
