  • I loved the slower titles and the extended music at the end the show has lost some of its Northern edge

  • @TheWhitehall Gays would be burnt at the stake if they went in too.

  • @VOLVORULEZ1995 Dennis Tanner was famously gay in real life in those days.

  • Don't Alf Roberts look young here.

  • I didn't realise Alf Roberts was in it as early as 1961.

  • @mmaconachie Yeah but he was only recurring part in the 60's and became full time cast member in the early 70's.

  • That was straight up harsh from the officer. "She's dead". Bham hit by car.

  • To quote the Victoria Wood As Seen On TV parody: "That stuck-up Ida Barlow, it'll not be too long before she falls under a bus!"

  • No black or asian customers in the "Rovers" back then.

  • Such compassion from the police officer LOL

  • 0.38 - Alf Roberts, one of Corries longest running characters 1961-1963 and 1968-1999.

  • There a nice scene in the 80s when Alf Roberts mentions Ida Barlow, nice bit of reference to Corrie's past.

  • No soft soap then, 'she's been killed' were the peeler's words.

Then again, back then, folk were tough.

I've never seen Alf Roberts that young.

    Briam Mosley, R.I.P.

  • @h8thatcherluvblair God bless Brian a very nice man.

  • watch Harry Hewitt react too soon and it looks like he is giving Concepta a dirty look!

  • @Shuna1001

  • Ernie Willets is dead!
