I know Coldplay purists will all cry in opposition, but for me, this cover ruined Coldplay's version for me. As in, this version is so good Coldplay's barely even compares anymore. It's just the perfect combination of the violin and Luke Pritchard's voice. I know some people don't like Pritchard's voice, but I am so in love with it.

I mean, all the darkness that this song had (that was actually what made this Coldplay song so special) has been taken away by The Kooks. I have never listened to any song by The Kooks, so I can't judge them, but I do can say that I don't like this.
