Messerschmitt Me 109 as a carrier aircraft?
Certainly a good fighter operating from land bases.
But they were always known for having fragile landing gear, lots of mishaps when touching down.
Imagine slamming one down on a wet, pitching, flight deck during a heavy sea.
I think they would be good for one mission only.
