The song is not in the tetsuo Soundtrack, but you can get it from the best of cd called Ductile : "Der Eisenrost - Ductile (Shinya Tsukamoto's Film Music)".
There's a torrent somewhere, however you might get disappointed. The Soundtrack doesn't sound exactly like the one you hear in the movie. It's great stuff from Chu Ishikawa tough.
Both are good.. but I like Begotten better.. Begotten has more thought and depth behind it.. It has so many layers to it that you can watch it many times and get a completely different idea from it. Tetsuo is great.. but its pretty transparent to anyone with a bit of intelligence. Begotten is the true piece of art here. Tetsuo is more like, an intelligent superhero movie.
Our love will put an end to this fuckin' world!

is this based of the movie akira, cause theres alot of similarities, i can't find enough info on it to debate it with a friend.
SxMayKill 3 years ago
No the two aren't connected however Akira and Tetsuo both fit within the cyber punk genre.
When I first saw this film I assumed it was a sequel to Akira but quickly I realised it was somthing else

Definnitely one of the coolest movie intros out there.
Also this intro seems to reference the movie 'altered states' for how the text scrolls by.

You should see Begotten. It makes movies like this one and Eraserhead look comprehensible.

@Aspenly Tetsuo has a ridiculous amount of craftsmanship and stop motion that really makes it stand out on it's own

What is that, Nut on his face at the end!? I like how they have the word TETSUO glide across the screen at the end of his FLIPPING OUT SESSION!!
