previously i updated my htc desire to 2.2 but the camera dint work..so i returnd to the supplier and received a new one which is running 2.1 ..i want to have 2.2 how can i fix the camera problem? =(

Anyone looking to update their Desire in Canada, listen up.

Telus is terrible, and lied about having the update out within a couple weeks of the phone's launch.

If you wanna update, you'll have to root your phone. It's easy. I did it. Instructions here:

@NorwayPhone Sadly you can't get the original normal stock android 2.2 interface (which you can see on the Nexus One) with this update as far as i know (i'm a nooby but it's possible).. Check out the internet it's possible

this isn't official froyo by htc because 1: this has car mode, 2: this has voice to text on keyboard. On the official OTA 2.2 from htc, it don't have these features.

I have a HTC Legend but the software update hasn't been released for it yet. I think the Legend and Wildfire are getting it next month or something can't wait I find my phone can be a bit lagging. :/
