powdered sugar does not kill the mites.  It is ground to such a fine size that it interferes with the mites ability to hold on to the bees and they fall out the bottom. I know guys who tret the ground under their hives to prevent the mites from returning and to prevent other insects from growing and hatching in the ground under the hives.

@OutOfaBlueSky its because it doesnt show up in the related bar on the right..ive tried to follow videos of yours without going on your channel and alot of them dont go in sequence...i thought you might have done it to get channel views...but i am not a subscriber...maybe at the end of this video i will be so it better be good
