I liked the third generation and the games keep getting better, emerald being my favorite of the three games because it had a good story, the trainer outfits were awesome, the introduction of May (my favorite of the pokemon heroines, Hilda coming second and dawn in 3rd) and the introduction of my TOP FAVORITE POKEMON OF ALL TIME: SALAMENCE!!!

Gen 3 was my first Gen, when I bought Ruby. I then traded it to my friend for Red because I never had it before. I regretted it and was so upset that I didn't have it, my other friend gave me his Emerald. :)

First generation was the best (talking about the fire red and leaf green games they were just so classic with so much space 2 YEARS later i still hadnt finished thel ast few story line parts cause its that deep and i still play fire red and leafgreen sometimes anything after emerald sucked in my opinion because after that the games seemed to lose there classic touch and become to easy i could easily beat a game like pearl in a month or so and i hardly ever touch my pearl or diamond games

Pokemon leaf green was the very first pokemon game I played. I didnt know what I was doing and just trained my charizard, so by the the time I got to the elite4 I had a lvl 87 charizard and 3 pidgeys o_0

Personally I liked the third generation. It has to be the best pokemon game I have played so far. I don't care if you can't catch any pokemon from kanto or jhoto because the pokemon from hoenn are 10 times better than them put together!

@KakeyoSilverton Actually these games did have a time and day feature becuase the only way to get umbreon and espeon in fire red and leaf green it to trade eevee into ruby and saphire then train them within those games.
