k so i looked it up. it was texas roadhouse. turns out dude had almost finished eating his steak, when the manager asked him how it was. dude said it was lil overdone and manager insisted on a new steak. customer refused the offer, but manager did it anyway. for once the customer wasnt an ass, and didnt deserve it!
turns out chef got only 6 months. charged with the felony of placing foreign objects in edibles... yea a felony, go figure lol.
Serves him right. There's NO excuse to do that to a person, and you KNOW it's against the law to do so, you have no grievance for facing prison time. Absolutely horrible thing to do, and if he's doing this to someone's food, this is the type of person who we do NOT need loose on society.
It is never ok to get a hair in your food......and if you are spending 100s on a steak you should get it any way you want......even burned to a crisp....it doesnt matter......you are the customer spending all this money.......the meal is yours...not the "cooks".

That doesn't surprise me really, I've heard similar stories before, such as a customer down here in Australia who complained about the quality of his steak and later witnessed someone in the kitchen wiping his arse with the replacement. It's a pretty appalling way to treat a customer really.

They're morons because they don't understand the concept of leverage. Personally, I find that if you treat the waiters nicely they go the extra mile for you. Yes, some waiters are shit, but don't give them a reason to poison your food. Eat somewhere else, tell management/H.O. if necessary.
