A little reverb on the vocals, especially in a completely outdoor environment would blend the vocals better. Then again this is a camera microphone....
Aldenif, the power stand is made for up to 2 bass modules, but you can add as many as you want by putting one packlite amplifier for every 2 bass bins. It is a small 250 watt power amp (weighs only 3 pounds).
Playing a TD3 kit through a Roland DM5....peronally, I thought the drums sounded great. I don't think the camcorder gives you the full sound spectrum, but they were very rich, full and clean.
Alesis DM-5? Something about the drums just sounds "off" - the snare sounds exactly the same on every hit, so does the kick, and cymbals & toms... maybe it's the lack of dynamics in the drum part of this song, just doesn't sound "convincing" tonally to me
I agree with Dave, the kick and snare are a little too close *click-wise*, and the drummer doesn't have a rim shot sound that he can blend in with the normal snare sound. So, yeah, a little sterile. The TD-3 kit has no Dual-trigger pads, nor the velocity sensitive timbre changes to the sounds. Makes them sound machine-gunny. However, I hadn't noticed previously, I was just enjoying the overall sound of the band and the vocals.
You're right, my bad. It's all the other pads in the set that are not dual...the snare is. Still, I don't hear the rimshot, unless he's hitting it every time. Or maybe he has the sidestick assigned to the rimshot trigger?
SMILE, it's music and you're playing it on Bose! I know life sucks and you have to pay bills, but so do I. Music and martial arts is my release so ENJOY it! lol.

How much power(watts RMS) have the L1 system?

wonderfull sound ! :) how many bass extensions do you use?
Petrasilchen 1 year ago
750 watts RMS per tower...each performer has his own tower in our case.
It's great because everyone can dial in their own optimum vocal and instrument sound, and it all blends together on stage and throughout the room.

I'm normally a huge fan of V-drums, but those sound awful! Is that the Roland TD-6?

Actually, the TD3 does have dual-trigger pads, enabling rim shots.
