I am from Ime-Obi,if you are an Agbor person you will know where i am talking about..we speak AGBOR and not ibo, benin or any of the languages people are writing here.We have traditional connections with the Benins..the similarity with Ibo language is because of the trading between them in the old days.
@hillmartyns, you are talking nonsense. There was no type of trading that caused any time of "similarities with Ibo and Ika(an Ibo sub-groub). For one, there is no such thing as 1 igbo language. There is Onithsha, Aro, Ukwuani, Ngwa, Ikwere, Ezza, etc dialects of the Ibo people. None of them speak the exact same language verbatim. Ika is no exception. It is an Igbo dialect just like the rest. Stop claiming Binis. They don't like you all,ok? The traditional connection is due to Benin expansion
@kuntakinte07 you just sit or hid behind you pc and write whatever comes up in your head..can you be so bold to argue this face to face.and call it nonsense? are you an Agbor man? or person? what do you know about us? be bold show yourself and be constructive..do your research before commenting and concluding with your ignorance.Igbos think we are igbo because we speak bia or what..we are not benins either..but we have root from there...full-stop
@hillmartyns, the Benin expansion came all the way East of the river to Imo, Anambra, and River State, so your case is no different. The trading claim is nonsense again. The Igbos also traded with the hausa back then but do you see them speaking Ibo with sprinkles of hausa language in it or wearing Isi agu? Stop deceiving yourself. Yes we lost the war but it is no excuse to deny being Ibo. Remember, we won the battle against nigeria but lost the war to international powers(Britain, U.S., Russia
i love this song infact i love joe so much. we have been waiting for joe morgan song all this while.please can you place his first and second album. joe....... we love you here in italy
im not too sure but i have a strong guess that it is Esan. they dress just like the bini's, the houses look very similar, and there are a few words which they say that are similar. and they keep saying Edo. so yeah.
