I have but the Infra red signal would drop out during the flight causing the helicopter to fall to the ground. Theirs definitely something to be said for radio control.

since you hate this one so much but it does look pretty awesome.... ever thought of using the canopy on something else???

I really don't like the canopy on this one, when you look at it up close it looks really ugly, their are a bunch of pieces cut out of it to reduce weight, and it is really heavy, I may use the electronics for a homemade airplane, but I'll probably trash the apache canopy.

Don't buy one of these, i only got about 10 flights before the batteries and electronics started to malfunction, actually the esky lama version 3 is less expensive then this one, and it flies much better, plus it's canopy can be changed out with an apache canopy among others.

I bet this thing is pretty hard to fly being Mode 1 and all. Good job.

I am actually using my mode 2 controller from my E-sky honey bee. But it doesn't make this twitchy little thing any easier to fly.
