Guy' jump in's look like they will be a problem in slow ssf4. I'm getting worried about that now that I've seen a few vids.

well it has been about 13 years since anyone played or heard of guy. So guy match ups will be heavy defensive players. But yeah he got some slow moves but his normals are pretty quick. Might have normal cancel with light or medium specials.

Never liked guy much, but cody the hero of final fight is the man.

It's not just you. His jump is Dhalsim slow. And that fucking hurts when you have no teleport or extending limbs.

His qcf+p sucks donkey balls. In A3 it was fast and landed in your opponent's face fast too. Now it's slow as hell and it seems he's trying to jump out of the screen, which is just begging for a dp or an anti-air.

Than you have his ultras. One is slow and most likely not comboable.

For a character with no projectiles and has to rely on combos, Guy is seriously underpowered.

@Oimae hahaha, no. Ultra 1 combos off of Final Fight combo in the corner, no meter required. QCF+P -> P does RIDICULOUS damage also.

If Guy from the Alpha series translate well to SSF4, he should be good. Just look for SFA videos of Guy, and you will see that he can be a monster in the right hands BUT only in the right hands. One reason he seem weak is because Guy is probably one of the most difficult characters to use in Street Fighter and no one in these new SSF4 videos seem to know how to play him.

@adryanv God, not shit. Does the term "Final Fight Combo" mean anything to these people? How about HP to Shoulder Charge chain? Using his MK as a poke even?? I really, really hope that Guy will have the ability to link his Super like he was in A2. Guy is a fucking monster when he has his opponents against the wall.

Guile's new Ultra looks alot more viable than his Flash Explosion. I don't play Guile, but this is definitely good news for those who do as his lack of a reliable way to capitalize on comeback opportunities was one of his biggest flaws.

why the fuck would the guile player even pick Ultra II when he says he doesn't even know how to do it....and how the hell does he call himself a guile player when he doesn't even one of guile's best moves. That's like a Ryu player not knowing how to do shinku hadoken.

This was during the "tournament" they held. So standard rules apply. "Everyone else" that looked at the move list was during free play and actual testing that was being done that night.

Okay at 4:01 it looks like Guy does some EX jumping grab attack, it's not his regular flipping grab, it looks like he was going for Ultra and whipped a Drangon Punch motion instead.  Is this a new move?
