The old boxing adage of being on 'queer street' certainly comes into play. He was flailing and got clipped hard right on the kisser and was by all means out on his feet but turned around and fucking destroyed the guy.

there moments in that fight when both of them are so quick they miss each other synchronously. Most of the punches skimmed fedor. There was a moment where fedor was out of rich and stumbled a bit. Overall if Fedor felt Arlovski was dominating, he would take him to the ground and submited him.

On paper it's pretty obvious that if Fedor can avoid taking a good punch from Arlovski he's got the win.

However, I'd like to add that last year Fedor lost his first world sambro champ in EIGHT years, maybe fedor is winding down?

Also; anyone that is heavily into MMA knows that Fedor can be staggered. Fujita caught him with a nice hook and could have beaten fedor if he wasn't retarded. Arlovski has the punching power to do that to Fedor. It could be Fedor's first loss if he can land one.

Fedor lost to Ivanov in Sambo because he spent the previous 3 weeks in Thailand shooting a movie and didn't train, a mistake he acknowledges.

If his last fight with Sylvia had been difficult I would agree with you about him slowing down but seeing as he's only 33 and beat a UFC champ in 36 seconds, imo he's a better fighter now than he was in Pride 4 years ago.

Also, because of that loss in sambo, I think Fedor is very motivated to beat Andrei.

Fedor Has had his chin tested at least twice that I know of, He was wobbled bad and everyone in the audience stood on their feet but he recovered and finished his opponet brutally. He was also slammed in such a way that Bas rutten commented he thought fedors Neck was broken. but he rolled out and finished the fight. He is insane because he cant get fazed I dont even think he is that technically talented he jsut never loses his cool, tis why he's the cyborg.

Fedor's only loss was in RINGS back in 2000 via cut to a Japanese fighter whose name I cant recall right now. He got his with an illegal standing elbow 17 seconds into the fight and the doctor stopped the fight giving Fedor a TKO loss in what should have been a no contest.

If you watch that fight, Fedor got rocked! Not knocked out but rocked. If Fujita could have capitalized, he could have had a TKO. He just couldn't land good shots within that 5 sec time span that it took Fedor to recover.
