  • Great looking swing!

  • wish i had that mutch consistancy

  • Cracking swing. Everything's connected, great tempo and posture.

  • such a nice swing !

  • Your swaying on your takeaway. Im sure you struggle some with consistency due to this but overall tempo looks good

  • great swing! your tempo is fantastic. The slower you are through your take away to the top of the back swing makes a quicker acceleration through the ball on the downswing. This is something you do really well :)

  • Too fast

  • @blazzaman. I'm deluded? What a joke. Post your swing. If you read my post properly youll find I said it wasn't perfect but natural. jim furyk has an awful swing but at impact square. The same as every other pro. He looks perfectly square to me. All you've done is show a little jealousy. Let it out blazzaman. Let it out. Oh and thanks for agreeing on everything I said. Technique is import but not the be all and end all. Please post your swing. I'm dying to see it. Which pro tour do you ply on.

  • ...perhaps it would be less pronounced with a quicker backswing. Try something for me: Stand up with your feet shoulder width and slowly shift your weight from left to right repeatedly, like one whole second between shifts. You'll have to sway to stay balanced. Now speed up. You'll notice that the faster you shift your weight, the less swaying is required, until at a brisk swing speed, almost NO lateral movement is needed to shift ALL your weight between feet. I hope this helps. Good luck.

  • ...drives, much of the movement was actually just before takeaway. The rest of the movement was done quite quickly, so as to make it more of a coiling onto the right side. The hips however, esp. right hip, stayed still and even moved to the left late in the backswing. What is important, IMHO, is that your spine achieves a pronounced tilt away from the target by the start of the downswing, i.e. head farther from target than tailbone. Your move to the right however, just seems a bit too much,...

  • You mean you don't NOTICE anymore that you sway on the way back, or you really don't "think" you do it now? You clearly do, as the video shows. But this is a VERY nice swing. I have watched many, many videos of hogan, and you definitely capture many of his moves. In the late 80's and early 90's, a lateral move to the right (above the waist only) was more common on tour (Crenshaw, Strange), so clearly it is not an amateur move. And though Hogan did seem to move his head to the right on full...

  • love the swing man, how do you like the Nike CCI irons?

  • Hoganesk! well balanced, not alot can go wrong when you keep your fundamentals in check well done dude!

  • great swing! supple, flexible, unbelievable. from japan.

  • youre swing is really slow you could have some more yards when you swing faster :))

  • what are you doing in the rough, hack? your swing looks quite flawed and wounded and you should seek professional help immediately

  • Nice swing. Would you mind if i posted it on my website?

    Thanks

  • @ratetheswing Yea! Go for it ! let us know your website's name....

  • @kuneckid05 Thanks! It will be on ratetheswing(dot)com we will be having some pga swings on there as well today.

  • nice swing dude.. I still prefer this swing compare your swing in take 11.

  • smooooooooth liek a pint.

  • Very nice swing, what about short game?

  • @0:50

The ball position is near your right foot, rather than left foot.

Could you tell me how you decided the ball position with what policy??

    I'm sorry I am 100 player.

  • @fukurokoujikanemitu Hey ! The camera angle does not help to see things straight, the ball is near the middle.... you can move the ball position up and down the line if you want. The further back you put the ball, the more likely you'll hit the ball first before the divot. IF you want the ball to fly higher, move the ball forward towards the left foot. There are text-book rules out there showing which iron has to have the ball where... but i think its really up to the person! .

    Best Wishes !

  • You just need to get to the tours!

  • It would be no use to request any advice in internet if you can not distinguish between good essential advice and bad fucking advice, wouldnt it?

  • WOW! What a swing!!!

  • no homo, but this is one of the sexiest swings I've seen. The more I've played golf, the more I realize that ball striking, and not straight swing is what matters. What's your handicap man?

  • @myeire continued..hahaha

Accurate ball striking persistently! He also roles the right foot and displays the left foot to allow to turn more easily and freely..especially after his injury he had to make adjustments to his swing. I know I'm right so don't message back trying to deny that you are in the wrong!

Ps: watch aaron baddeleys swing..that's more addictive! Pfffttt!!

  • @Blazzaman10 says the pro....blazzamanten lol

  • @Myeire. You are deluded!!! A good technique allows good ball striking. If you can get the club head at a square position when hitting the ball... that is ultimately what matters. However, when you need to flip your hands over or make some adjustment to your swing to do this, this can cause problems - especially under pressure. Get a grip mate. Look at ben hogans swing and his swing plane is immaculate. Position 2 is parallel and there isn't as much lag. This is to create a good swing plane and

  • nice tempo my man, check out my swing if you'd like.

  • simmer down rory =D

  • Anyone who criticises this swing hasn't a clue about ball striking. Golf is about ball striking and at impact is where it matters. Fact. It's not an ernie els swing (beautiful but boring) but this is so much more natural. The lag the tempo and the way you get through the ball is addictive to watch. only one other swing to make me watch over and over again and that's Fred couples. Keep doing what your doing and let all the other failed golfers hack around their courses keep on embarrassing thems

  • How did u create a tempo like that?

  • @brian77731 what i do is go to the range, and in my swing I say "1= take back 2= mid swing,3= follow through,4=finish. This should help. Just think about a good tempo in your swing.

  • Terrible angle not anywhere near face on or down the line

  • You dip down on your down swing

  • @Titleistguy2 The Grass Is Green....

  • got a few videos on my swing as well. check them out and let me know what you think

  • I wish i had your form

  • If anyone could go to my videos, and give me advice on my swing, I would really appreciate it. Beginner just trying to learn.

  • love the lag you generate on the downswing.

  • nice whip in the swing

  • i reckon you would crush it

  • Very smooth, solid swing. About the only thing I could think of is that you could make a more complete turn in your backswing and get more distance. Try to turn enough to get your shaft paralell to the ground at the top, that'll add some yds.

  • you could probably get a bit more power with a slightly better weight transfer. it looks like your right (back) heel basically pivots and comes straight up. try moving so your right heel moves slightly towards the target as it picks up and then pivots. other wise...SPOT ON!

  • very good swing! natural rhythm. Watch the head/movement of your COG... on the right track for sure though! I usually enjoy surfing youtube for people that call themselves "scratch" golfers wanting a "rating" of their swing... Came across yours and its the real deal ;-) play on!

Also maybe watch the balance and how your weight is shifting to your left heel. You look like you may want to lean over on the shift from right to left, and then finish on the left heel... only thing obvious...

  • you mastered hogans move on the downswing when he flattens his left wrist

  • good tempo- sway not a big deal- seems to help maintain rhythmn and probably ball flight- curious to know if flight is more of a draw and if so, if you do anythin different to flight a fade?

  • Why not playing golf at Tochigi Pref. in Japan with me this weekend??

  • your ball position at address seems to be closer to your right foot than others.

How did you decide where the ball should preferably be put at address.

if the ball is put near right foot, that will bring downblow shot, but that will cause the wrong direction the ball flies. Otherwise, the ball is put near left, that might bring nice direction but upperblow.

  • You are the first amateur golfer, that I have ever seen on youtube, who is controlling his/her Tempo in the whole swing!

  • Congratulations! this is one of the best swing i have seen in a long time. Nice tempo and short backswing, in control.

  • loving the driver swing. Pure.

  • Comment removed

  • @golfmaniac007 i've been making sure i transfer my weight to the back foor over the years and have developed the sway. Got stronger with time and the sway decreased, don't think i do it anymore !

  • @golfmaniac007 it is best not to move like this in your swing path, you should keep your head still as it can potentially lead to your swing coming off plane, by that i mean swinging too much behing yourself and cause you to pull or slice the ball

  • Is your name Ben Hogan or are you trying to imitate Ben Hogans swing

  • I wish I could do as you someday

  • nice swing.

  • nice lag and release at impact not a huge back turn but you don't need to your coil stops naturaly your timming and tempo is excellent

  • so how are you gonna reach long par 4's in two? driver driver....lol i hope thats not you fastest swing

  • N-I-C-E

  • hips start turning before the club reaches the top of the backswing - classic move...creates a ton of lag. palmer and hogan were great at this. nice swing

  • finish your backswing and turn your hips more

  • finish your backswing

  • You should try the iSwingApp. iswingapp[dot]com

  • Beautiful tempo!

  • Hey what is ur handicap mate? Imma 32. Do u have any tips cause u seem to know what u are doing.

  • I like your swing

  • Incredible club head speed -- generated by early hip turn. My problem is I can't get my hands down and release fast enough. But you do.

  • great swing!! check out mine, i just posted it

  • Pretty good swing bro. I would work to stop the move to the right on your back swing. Not in the upper body, but in the hips. I had the same slide and my ball striking improved greatly after the fix. As you start back, feel as if your left hip actually moves forward (toward the target) just a little bit. You will find it much easier to get back to your left side. It helps to get the sensation of the left hip moving forward if you put it in your waggle. watch E. Ells' waggle to see what i mean.

  • Swing looks really good. Kind of a Nick Price tempo. Transition is quick too, but you are in great sequence coming down.

  • I really like your swing different to most of the pros out there, but I suppose everyone has got a unique swing. you seem to hit the ball more flusher than a few others on your iron shots but I love your stance over the ball, nice calm swing mate keep posting.

  • @HJManson, was sandy lyles backswing too short?

  • Hey, dude! You have one of the best looking dynamic swings I have ever seen, professional or amateur.

And, by the way, you realise you are getting swing advice from some people who probably couldn't even carry your lunch, don't you?

    Keep up the good work.

  • could you tell me about your shoes.

  • @hongkong1980able What would you like to know about my Shoes...?

  • @kuneckid05 さん

    your shoes is nicelooking.

could you tell me the manufacturer and model.

  • backswing is too short

  • @HJManson your an idiot you clearly have no clue what your talking about he makes a full shoulder turn and thats all you want so dont comment unless you know what your talking about you f-ing fg moron

  • @238jjv ok then it's clearly too short i'm a coach you moron

  • looks good to me but I am an amateur lol check out my swing video and give me some pointers

  • Rate My Swing!

  • im not a fan of that hand drop, i would assume ur miss is a block or a hook? try and drive towards that one plane swing. Also ur ball position looks way in the back, u would have to move that up a bit otherwise its reinforcing coming from the inside which u do not need.

  • im not a fan of that hand drop, i would assume ur miss is a block or a hook? try and drive towards that one plane swing. i would reccomend feeling like your coming a little wider on your down swing.

  • nice swing it just seems like you sway just a little at the begining but if that helps you then dont change a thing

  • nice swing. my only comment is to try and limit the swaying for more consistent ball striking. much improved vs. older swing vids. feel free to check out my swing over at my channel : )

  • kinda reminds me of Sergio Garcia... nice swing man... your probably hit it a decent way too...

  • i was gona give abuse, but thats a nice swing..lucas glover like

  • love the way you kind of swipe at the ball. keep it up.

  • Pretty good swing, dude. I would like to see a slightly slower transition at the top, particularly the hands at the top. I would like to see the hands go a little higher and wait a fraction of a second longer, instead of a hurried move from the top.

  • you have a very nice swing. id suggest just to watch your sway a bit.

  • your swing looks really smooth. check out my swing :)

  • your swing looks really smooth. check out my swing

  • nice swing. at 52 sec you had a very good move. I think you could work on your dowswing pivot. You get lost sometimes coming down, and finish a bit out of balance.

  • Still doing the sway man. Need to cut that out. Your setup is incorrect also. You need to position your head behind the ball especially your driver and keep it behind at impact. Do not move your head so much. Rotate your upper torso arround you axis.

The reason you do this sway is for extra distance. I bet you knock 2-4 strokes of your game if you cut it out.

  • If your leavin the ball out to the right you might want to try a more complete shoulder turn. Not a longer swing necessarily just a bigger shouler turn. ex. camilo Also your sway right isn't really a good thing. But if your swing aint broken dont let me try and fix it.

  • very nice , just noticed your hands barely get to your ear though.

  • really good...try to take a bigger divot with the iron...maybe u can have a better ball compression and higher spin too...

Your game can evolve too much with this.

    C u

  • 2 plain swing = fail :)

  • The swing looks great. I would tighten up that right leg on the backswing to keep and maintain a strong pivot. Excessive body movement causes trouble especially under pressure. Right leg provides a stable ancjor.. This is essential. I hope that I don't ever have to play you after telling you something that will make you even better!!

P.S.-- Don't listen to all of the naysayers. They are just jealous. You would kick their asses in a match ( If you have a good short game as well)..

  • SImilar 2 Sergio's Swing , The Way Ur Hands Come Down Before The Club.

  • You should do a parallel swing and dont move your body too much to the right.

  • A. You've got a great swing, excellent shoulder turn (puts you on plane) and unlike many others, you come back on plane and stay behind the ball (proper release). You hit a lot of fairways and GIR's. Learn to chip and putt and you'll be below par. B. Your ball striking is so good because you almost have a 3/4 swing, you don't over-swing taking yourself out of your shots. You probably use a 9 iron from 150, yes or no?

  • Potentially a very good player, the "downcock" you generate is a real gift you don't see that often. You sway off the ball going back though, looks like this is due to ball position being too far back. You may benefit from the Faldo method of playing everything off the left instep and varying stance width not ball position. Read Faldo's book "a swing for life" for a better description.

  • Nice fluid swing.

  • sick swing

  • TOSSER

  • That lag is making me so jealous. Could you give me some advice on my swing? It's on my channel.

  • @maxridesbikes012 loosen your grip. especially on the downswing. if on the downswing you grope the club power is lost. and feel like you are pulling the club down, butt of the club facing the ball on the downswing. that is what it should feel like. dont try and overemphasize anything though. it should feel fluid and not forced.

  • i love ur position at the top

  • sounds pure

  • woah, the repetition of your swing is amazing. Looks exactly the same every shot.... lol

  • beautiful swing, nice lag and turn. only thing, that sway could potentially lead to some fat shots or a slice if your tempo is a bit off.

  • Such a swing gives me nightmares!!!

(How to learn your swing, I have tried for years with no success!)

    I envy you!!!

  • Great swing dude, I like the tempo and the smoothness !

    5*

  • you've got a terrific swing there bud.

  • Still great swing! Disregard below comment on weight shift there are many ways to swing-u can shift weight or stack- tilt. That weight shift(as long as you can return to the ball) is very powerful.Your swing is very smooth and u staylevel with your head. Also, you keep your head down- a key to solid contact.Keep that nice rhythm and smooth but powerful lag u have.Great swing.Nice plant with your left foot.If I could recommend anything, just try flaring both your feet out a little more for stability

  • Terrific swing, my only issue with it would be your big shift away from the ball at the beginning of the swing...its not necessarily bad, it just might be difficult to consistently get your weight going back to your left side through impact. You drop the club back to the inside beautifully, but if you don't get your weight going to your left side consistently and you hang back on your right side, you might start to hit some big hooks...just my opinion

  • Nice, check mine out!

  • lucas glover swing nice swing man

  • ..ur 15 and have that controlled of a swing, thts impressive. Have u always had a short backswing or is it smethin uve wrked on for control n consistancy

  • Nice swing. You definitely sway a little bit, try bracing your right knee a little better and keep the weight on the inside of your right heel during the backswing. All in all much improved. Check my swing out.

  • thankscan you check out my swing nd rate pls

  • Good swing! Maybe a bit too much sway! wats ur handicap

  • haha i like the swing tho whats your handicap?

  • fire those hips harder

  • Nice chainsaw buzzing while youre hitting the driver. Did you caddy not tell him to turn it off?

  • @scottyprimetime LOL, yeah could of done that.

Anyway i'm glad you watched whole of the video ;)

  • keep your head very still so your spine can return at address easier

  • Wow, I love your swing!

  • fantastic transition

looks great and you can tell you have a low handicap

  • Hah, really appreciate your comments.

    Cheers

  • @kuneckid05

Great swing K....I notice something important....your right knee doesnt move till you hit the ball....that's exactly what TIGER and many more great golfman does. Yor right knee point on the ball till the impact of the club.....Great work my friend Dangolf !!!

  • Real Nice Swing

  • Real nice swing with a fantastic release.

  • hi i love the swing mine is almost identical i have tried to replicate your slower takeaway and has helped keep me in low figure and what is your handicap if u dont mind me asking? kind regards sam

  • Ohh I'm glad you like my Golf swing. Thanks alot for a nice comment.

I play of 4 at the moment.

    Best Wishes

  • great swing! just a little to much lateral movement to your right on the backswing. try keeping your head over the ball on your backswing. this will improve your accuracy

  • good swing

  • I just love this swing.

Trade ya golf lessons for drum lessons?!?! :-D

  • Deal Mate !!! )̲̅ζO)̲̅ζ́

  • wow showed alot of corage posting this. very brave...

  • Excuse-me ??

  • you crunch the ball very well mate and generate plenty of lag and clb head speed.

only minor critism is you have a slight lateral sway. maybe try and quiet your leg noise.

other than that, great swing, nice sounding contact

  • Those have to be the nicest sounding golf shots. VERY NICE swing. I'm trying to kind of do the same thing with my swing at the top.

  • u remind me a lot of lucas glover

  • Your point of view of comparing me to Lucas must come from the last shot on this video. My big lag created by the hand drop at the top. Lucas does the same. It seems a as a hadn drop, but what makes it bigger is the fact the my swing is little bit flat, so then the handrop forces it to go even flatter, resulting on lackc of distance and a draw shot. I've worked on that over the last 7 months. Wider arc and on-plain swing. Huge difference it makes.

Thanks for the comment buddy. x

  • You got nice swing

  • you hit them fat and then thin fat and then thin... that isnt a gppd thing i had the same prob when i got tofar of the balll remember to not throw your weight around

  • I don't swing as good as you are...but may I still dare to point out just one thing.....

you sway a bit too much at your back swing....

other than that, I think you are great.....

  • oops...I see others have already pointed it out for you.....

  • have you got handicap?

  • i do

  • pretty good move, however, you still have a way to go (if you are trying to emulate Mr. Hogan........ it's in the dirt......

  • nice swing bro,

please watch my swing and rate..

  • Good work buddy, still i can bit on you, you are doing better and better , take some following advices regarding weight shifting , rest of things are cool, very smooth and clear drive. Good luck.

  • Hey Darek,

Try a few shots focusing on transfering your weight to the inside of your right heel in your backswing before starting your downswing. Give it a try and let me know how it works out.
