  • heard about the wfg guy who committed suicide? he was a black fag? welcome to the bottom of the pyramid! must be some serious mormon guilt

  • This is not a company, it's a punch of thugs try to take advantage on other people time, money by making people to do recruiting and selling bullshit life insurance for them.

  • SCAM???? Common sense is NOT, I REPEAT, NOT VERY COMMON after all... WFG represents some (100+) of the BIGGEST and most FINANCIALLY STRONG names in the Financial Services Industry in the world, and somehow while researching WFG, their financial analysts missed it? Some people need a major check up from the neck up.

  • We lost thousands of dollars from this company. We were duped by a Filipino couple from Bolingbrook, Illinois.

  • lastly, stop all the religious hate speech! cant we all get along!

  • new article in wall street journal calls wfg one of the 10 fastest growing companies in north america

  • funny how blair sinfger..tony robbins..all these guys endorse this company and literally the wisest fin minds in the world t the biggest top 50 firms in the world r biz with them? any questions?

  • they had tony robbins one year speak and then steven covey the next...john maxwell and tom hopkins too...pat riley..this year evander holyfield "the warrior" is gonna be there

  • i like the great speakers i hear ..like john maxwell, ben stin, chris gardner, joe namath, gen tommmy franks, gen scwhartzkof and "the greatest" Ali..wfg has had all these folks as great speakers! tony robbins too

  • someone should recommend people do their own reading on financial matters. i like the teaching style. they take an educational approach..it makes sense.

  • i just had an awesome time researching financial issues and find the market is in bad shape for the long haul

  • RIP Ben Davis...i jst heard of his suicide...mean comments..hateful comments ..ruin lives! it has no place here...so sad

  • i miss the big mtgs very much and the inspirational speakers. it was a good time in my life , overall

  • i miss my time in the company very much...i kinda wish i would have stayed...all the guys who talked me int lvn..r now out of the industry...we really didnt know how good we had it

  • lots mba types and some really cool people to though. our ldr was gay and i didnt like that. but...we won anyway

  • there are a lot of asians though geesh

  • last point....in this economy ...any company growing as fast as they are and have been in business for 21 years..should prop be apllauded

  • mormons are crazy....but not all wfgrs are mormon or black as many said earlier...kinda a rainbow

  • my sis was a cpa and started with them in 2008...she made 350k last year...

  • actually wfg is owned by aegon-transamerica and sells for 200 other top firms. why put down real good people?!

  • not all wfg ldrs are mormons...keep religion out of this

  • wfg is owned by a $550 bil company and the biggest and brightest minds in business from pacific life to fidelity to ing are all in bus with them...they have 900,000 active familes as clients. 2000 people earn over $100,000 as agents and man earn over 350k and over a mil...this is far from a scam...its very real

  • i was just visiting with a friend about hate speech. referencing someones religion or background as basis to call something bad is wrong..always...u should be ashamed

  • ok I'm convinced all these folk work for WFG.

  • Wfg is the best company and the biggest opportunity in the world. I was a client first when they saved me and my family $1500 a month. and now I am a licensed associate.

  • if you like business ..you should also get into real estate ..i think the two careers work well togther

  • honestly .who really cares either way.

  • there are lots of minorities in wfg.. there are also lots of mormons and christians and everything else ..its a melting pot

  • @bderwin67 They're rich because idiots get recruited and make those people wealth. It's a scam, straight up, one of hundreds will end up leading the scam and earning lots. You people are dumb as shit. They demand no education, no experience - they convince you that you can start a business, earn a lot of money, and retire early. They bribe you with materialistic crap and convince you that you will love what you're doing. It's textbook scam, period. Get an education you lazy retards.

  • @zhopenza before i say this let me say, i am not in WFG, but....learning a business, sales, marketing, adversting, leaderhsip, and learning finances are not "talents" they are "skills"..talents cant be leanred, either you have em or you dont, skills are something anyone with the porper focus and desire can learn..if no education or expereince in demanded, thats not a bad thing since the company just markets other companies products, they are not the ones handling the actual money

  • @carsonc29 Where in my comment did I mention talent? Oh, and do you know anyone who's picked up a guitar for their first time in their life and started playing like Malmsteen? Talent is a catalyst to skill, they are not completely unrelated.

  • @zhopenza while true some people ahve a natural talent for things, like math, a person may be able to pick up real easy on the subject while another person has to work a lil harder to understand it, but ive known many of people who hate math, are not all that good at it, but still manage to get an A or B in the class, they did what they had to do to learn the materialeven if it meant they had to work alot harder and study for alot longer...while talent and skill are not unrelated..

  • @zhopenza the point i was making was the skills you need ot learn to start a business, even in financial services can be learned, it may take more time, but they can be learned..example: a 60 inch vertile jump is talent, either you can jump that high or you cant, no amount of hours in the gym will give me a 60 inch leap, but shooting, dribbling, passing, defense..skills..those can be taught and learned by anyone willing to put forth the effort..same as sales, marketing ect..

  • @carsonc29 I still don't see your point, what you say is 100% correct and I'm not arguing with you. I'm an engineer and I understand how the business and technical society operates, everything is taught and becomes intuitive but like I said, talent is a catalyst to skill; if you are tall, you'll learn to jump better, if you are practical, you will solve problems differently from say, someone who is mathematically smart. But my point remains that WFG is a pile of trash.

  • @zhopenza i would have to disagree on a few points, a person can work out in a gym, strenthgen their legs, and it might help add a lil to your leaping ability, but nothin noticeable, now if your talkin bout learning a diff technique, then that could help, but technique is not a talent, its a skill, which can be learned...people do have diferent talents, diff specialties, but i gotta stick to what i said, skill can be learned without talent being present..as far as WFG bein trash,

  • @zhopenza i really couldnt tell ya if they are or not, ive only come across them during my time on YT, ive never met anyone from the compnay and only know a lil bit about what they do, but i do not know how they operate, so b4 i adopt the opinions of anyone, id like to do some of my won research b4 i make any judgements on this company

  • @carsonc29 I had a friend convince me to go to a introduction presentation meeting and it was just some idiot on stage speaking things that made no economic sense, wrong statistics, and false hope. The audience was mostly rednecks and high school drop outs and the presentation was text book scam bulshit. They later tried to convince me to drop electrical engineering to join them and that sealed the "fuck you" deal. It's a load of horse shit believe me.

  • i noticed lots of latinos and asians at the meetings. wish i saw more african americans climbing the wfg ranks. all in all it was a really porfessional good group of people.

  • i think we should focus on real issues in the world like how to turn this economy around. wfg is really good..as a woman and a minority i was impressed with how many people of color and women were succeeeding at wfg. good for them

  • l got what your saying. im happy is all i can say. go with your life to something you enjoy. find what you love and make a life of it.

  • i cant speak for everyone. only my own situation. they have been very professional with me. in fact my agent before wfg never even called me in 5 years. my wfg agent calls often aand is very knowledgable. again, this is just my one personal experience. thats it

  • i have had a policy with this company for 8 years. no problems at all. they did talk to me about a career and i wasnt interested. i am a nurse and enjoy what i do. but from an account standpoint..im happy. they see me about once a year and have stayed very much in cotact and always answer any questions. i couldnt say anything negative at all ..very positive

  • i hope we all extend a little more kindness to eachother. people are dying everyday in ur country from poverty and we are worried about whos who? move on to bigger and better

  • someone here says they have a problem with people trying to better their lives? thats not good. people trying to improve their lives should be saluted. at least ehy arent sucking off the government. i say go make big bucks wfg people it makes more tax money for the rest of us.

  • i really wish those who post comments on any organization would use some common sense and tact. i personally have my accounts with morgan stanley. my sister has hers with wfg. we are both happy. neither company is really better thasn the other. we both like the person we are dealing with and we both made money last year in our accounts and are protected with good life insurance. both companies are fine.

  • i hane prolem with people trying to bettter their lives. i hope everyone tries to better their own life. financial industry needs a makeover. at least these guys are doing something new and different. lot of people making great incomes

  • the ting about financial services is that its a personal relationship. so the fact that these folks contact friends and family doesnt bother me. people in the financial industry do this as a matter of common practice. im told wfg has over 800,000 clients. that seems lik a very large number. i say if your hearts in the right place, you will do right people. whatever, company or product you sell, if you are good, generally you do good, if you have a ccold heart no matter what firm your with

  • when people say wfg has great speakers ..that is partially true. they have 2 or 3 really great ones and basically a bunch of good ones. i was surprised by how many of the good speakers are not teaching the newer leaders how to speak like they do. there is a big canyon between there best speech givers nd the rest. for this company to really go big i think it needs another 50 great speakers. their products are great, good track record, solid backer in aegon..just need a few more great talkers

  • What a bullshit video! Bullshit music, bullshit lyrics, bullshit content, bullshit message & bullshit messenger!

  • Life Insurance should only be bought as term, and the difference invested. This company was born from rebelling from Primerica: who's principle's are to buy term and invest the difference. The founder of WFG, used to be a VP in Primerica and decided to work in the exact opposite of what the company represented and take some VP's with him. Consider his story like Lucifer going to hell and taking some fallen angel's with him.

  • WORLD LIAR GROUP,SEE IN WIKI,THEIR STORIES

  • WFG is a SCAM!

  • @ricman46 they are owned by a $550 billion company and sell for the largest financial institutions in the world....dont u think the presidents or actuaries at these companies do their due deligence? why are all of them with wfg? scam....you are hilarious..they have 900,000 clients...20,000 agents and are owned by a fortune 50 company...but their a scam....thank you pea brain

  • GREAT PRODUCTS, BUT THE WAY THEY WORK IS BY THEIR LIES!, THEY USE YOU TO GET YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AS PART OF YOUR TRAINING, AND THEY DO IT BEFORE YOU GET YOUR LICENSE SO THEY GET YOUR SHARE OF THE COMMISION. PLENTY OF LIES, LOTS OF GREAT LIERS(SPEAKERS), AND A FEW GREAT SPEAKERS! (THE ONES ON TOP OF THE PYRAMID OF COURSE!.. THEY DID PLENTY OF LIES AND USED PEOPLE LIKE CONDOMS, NOW THEY TAKE IT EASY AND SEND THE NEW LAYERS OUT. THIS PYRAMID SHOULD BE IN EGIPT!

  • the financial industry obviously needs a makeover. these guys are at least bringing a new way of doing things to the table. i checked out the products of the company and they are very good. so the end game to the consumer is a win. i think they definately are doing good things. weather they can execute long term or not, remains to be seen. im told that thew company has been around for a long time, so maybe they have

  • @MrErnie88888 DUDE GIVE IT A REST! DANG ARE YOU HAVING WFG ORGASMS!

  • the financial industry obviously needs a makeover. these guys are at least bringing a new way of doing things to the table. the industry itself is old and tired and has a bad reputation. i checked out the products of the company and they are very good. so the end game to the consumer is a win. i think they definately are doing good things. weather they can execute long term or not, remains to be seen. im told that thew company has been around for a long time, so maybe they have

  • man is it true that wfg has a ton of great speakers. i saw one young mn that is better than any preacher or motivational speaker ive ever seen. one of wfgs goal should be to develop an older crowd. they do nt have enough folks who(other than top folks) are in there 50s and 60s. this is aperfect time for a compay with a track record as solid as wfg to attract an older more mature crowd. i never seen so many 20 and 30 yr olds earning 250k plus in my life. lotsa young bucks making big money

  • there is no question about the quality of the people. these are good people trying to do good. i think they have a few of the best public speakers i have ever seen. these guys blow tony robbins and zig ziglar out of the water. as someone in my 50s i wish i did see more folks my age at wfg. it seems to be a perfect fir for folks my age. i guess real michaud and monte holm xuan nguyen and bryce peterson are about my age. it seems they should have less yong people and more baby boomers to m

  • i have recently attended even more of these wfg meetings. i compared them to my experience at charles schwab. i was more impressed with the calibur of peole at world fiancial group then anyone i saw at schwab. these folks were by and large concerned firt and foremost for the consumer and second for their own pocket book. every other firm ive looked at is all about the money. ironically, my sense is people like nguyen and thousands of others are actually making more than foks at schwa

  • i too was am impressed with the amount of diversity in the company. people from all walks of life. there is so much negativity and meanness in the world today. mabe jst some good folks making a diiference should be saluted. believe me i have met people in wfg i dont care for at all. just like any other career there are people you do and dont click with. the retired guys whos names we all here are not a factor. its the new people it seems to me that are building whatever wfg will become

  • as a woman, i was imppressed with the amount of successful women this comany has. my first meeting was about a month ago and im now involved in licensing and training a small team (all women!) we are enjopying the learning and challenge of growing a company of our own from scratch. in this economy any company offering families a real chance to earn more money should be saluted. there are over 1000 people who have earned six figures at wfg. many of them women. i think that speaks for itself

  • went to one meeting for this company in 1999. i gotta say im surpirsed they are still around. im actually kinda impressed. they were talkng a big game in those days and it seems like many of those folks delivered on the story. i never take shots at someone trying to better themselves and the longevity of the company is sort impressive. it was not something i wanted to do, but a friend decided to quit his job and joined the same night. 11 years later he is still there and seems to like it

  • wfg is not a scam. ed mylett jeff levitan monte holm jack linder.. etc have worked hard it seems to build a decent company. i am told that several of tese guys recently retired to other parts of the country and abroad. im not sure if this is true, it looks like the business has taken a toll on them physically in a few cases and it maybe time to slow down. the company sells for some very large financial companies and is owned by a huge one. there is nothing shady here. lots of recruting

  • my son met Ed mylett and Rich thawley at an event and said they were both regular guys. in particular he liked thawleys business appoach of recruiting and developing people from all backgrounds. it seems to me that it would be very difficult for a person with financial experience to succeeed in a competitive industry. however, my son claims people from a variety of walks of life have done very well for themselves. my guess is a financial background wold help. i cant see why this would hurt

  • if you ever have tried and failed. i think starting over can be difficult. the wfg experience, although i am no longer with the firm was so positive. with so much hurt and negativity in the world, it seems videoes like these simply intend to do harm to a company who strives to do well. so , although timing is no longer right for me..i salute the efforts of the wfg associates in attmept to make their own lives and the lives of others better. these are just average people trying to make it.

  • i am a client of this firm and have had nothing positive results. our son is involved an has built a decent business in a short time.

  • i like the company and had a good experience

  • WFG is a business. Pure and simple. I was not fortunate to have been educated in the 'business-life'. I myself was naive and had complete trust in the person who brought me in. The products are good; however the downfall of WMA is the people doing the business did not know who to conduct business. They all relied on ' just bring them into the meeting, we'll take care of the rest". I guess they have learned from their bad ways i.e. lawsuits filed in the wonder years.....

  • Anwyay. Let's get back to this company. WFG- World Financial Group. Did anyone really check them out before you posted. I don't even work for these guys, but I recognize Aegon ins. One of the largest in the world. You think they'd put their name with a losing company. Think again. You can complain if you lost money with their products, but as a company, they look pretty solid. Never heard any of them filing BK. So, until you can compete. shut the F up...At this point I know I cant.>> OUT

  • Ok I gotta chime in here. A lot of people have been talking about this company being a pyramid... What? Are you kidding me? EVERY COMPANY IS A PYRAMID. Who Makes the most at Microsoft, Facebook, Burker King, YOU TUBE, Google, American Airlines, Walmart, I could go on and on. The owners make the most of course. If they didn't it would be capitalism and it wouldn't be American. Go ahead and rack your brain. Find one company where the owners make the least amount of money. Good luck!

  • For those who think its just a pyramid scam, you just keep working for your boss who makes money off of your labors. Let them tell you when you have done enough to get that raise, let them tell you when you take vacation, let them tell you what you are worth. Quite honestly the ability to work my way up to about 72% commission is pretty damn good. 28% for all the support back office work and payroll services they provide, is a steal if you have ever run a sizable business.

  • Sure, I gladly referred several people to them because of the enormous help they were to me. I was told that I could sign on with the company, get a life/health license and I would make money from my referrals. Yes I did, and ended up making an additional 40k last year off of referrals. They didnt offer me a discount on an over priced product to get the referrals. I had 15 names in my head to give them before I even signed the paper work for the products I needed.

  • I tried to sit with 2 other firms, but they wouldn't see me after I send them my financial layout. I guess 150k a yr and a positive net worth just isn't enough for some of these firms.

  • I know they offer great options because I did a lot of comparison shopping for an adviser. What I found was that these "high school dropouts" as some one put it, had more product knowledge and referred me to the right options for me, than all 4 of the other professional firms I sat with. And I didnt sit with the newest associate in those firms either, I sat with the guys who had been in it the longest, and had the most credentials.

  • WFG is an opportunity to build a business, not a job. If you choose to educate yourself on the enormous number of options they offer and work hard with a mind set of bringing a much needed service to people who generally don't have a clue that they even exist, they yes you will succeed.

  • @dbz86019 you are a fucking troll. Piss off and suck AIDS dick you fuck face douchebag!

People who are agents of WFG need to get the fuck off the internet and focus on building your pyramid...er...I mean business.

  • Here are the actual company statistics. 1 out of every 10 life licensed agents make over $100,000 a year. 1 out of 4 agents with both a life, and a securities licenses make over $100,000 a year. How many companies can say that 10% of the people working for them are making six figures or more. NOT VERY MANY!!!

  • Those who call WFG a scam need to answer me these 3 questions, and if you can't, maybe you should think twice about badmouthing WFG.

#1- If WFG is a scam, then why are they in the top 1% of broker dealers in the most highly regulated industry in the U.S.?

#2- If WFG is a scam, then why did over 600 NEW agents make over $100,000 last year?

#3- If WFG is a scam, then why are there over 6,700 people who have made over $100,000 working with WFG?

Maybe the problem is you, and not the company

  • @josephdcarter 1. When you "recruit" 100,000 people, you are bound to make numbers by default.

    2. When you "recruit" 100,000 people, you are bound to get a very small percentage to make money.

    3. Again, if you have so many people to try it out, social darwinism dictates that a small minority will succeed.

Now tell us how little WFG pays.

  • Comment removed

  • Got a friend as a trainee with ths group. Its weird how his trainer seems to tag with him and "lectures" him - almost as if its brainwashing.... I work with HSBC before and usually banks don't offer weekend night training (until 10PM) ...

My gut feeling tells me WFG is like amway, nuskin, herbalife, etc... and imo, u never need to buy anything from ur own company to run their business... a company pays for ur work, not get u "discount" to buy its own product.

  • biggest bullshit company ever

  • @MyNameISfockYou If you knew anything about World Financial Group, you would not post such an unsubstantiated statement. Bring on your supporting information. Educate about a company whose clients properly protect their families. Educate us about qualities of good agents and bad agents. Better yet, expose yourself. Who do you work for. What do you do to help middle America? Sell stocks? Do you guarrantee your clients anything?

  • @MyNameISfockYou Lol yep, I'm sure there's been worse though ^^

  • btw. my friends are making between 100k to 200k a year now in about 8 years working in WFG. and they never had an unsatisfied customer

  • @ibeintangible It took 8 years to make 6 figures?!? I'm on track to make that in the next 18 months. I guess if you work for a company that allows you to keep 25% of your own money, that is what you deserve.

Ask you friends how many people they needed to recruit to make it to their level.

  • still im not joining cuz i don't think i can make it in that company. plus i like my free time so i know i won't make it. but i've seen some great things in the company WFG. just my 2 cents

  • WFG doesn't go out there and try to sell everyone something, they offer you solutions on which you make the choice of taking or not. they don't care if if you straight up say no to everything. they are just there to give you options and advice to help you and your family whether u take it or not. the ppl who complain about this company are the ones who are lazy and couldn't make it, who are just trying to make money, and those who where sold something by those ppl.

  • CONT.

last year the company i worked for started laying ppl off. i thought i'd be fine since i been working there for about 7 years and they never had any problems with me. but it was just my luck that i was layed off aswell. i lost my job and on top of that, my 401k was completely gone. nothing. BUT i still had the life insurance. i was told that WFG provides financial security and it has done so for me.

  • CONT.

ok now one of my friends signed me up for life insurance with a company called pacific life. i was told its better than my 401k and the money i put into the insurance will just keep increasing with interest and i would be able to take money out later if i need it without being taxed. i said it sounds good, it could be my savings account. i've been puting about $200 a month into it for the past 8 years and haven't lost any money off of it.

  • here is my opinion on WFG based on what i've seen. i have a few of friends that have done it and some are still doing it. they all asked me if i wanted to join them and i didn't want anything to do with it since it seems like too much work for me to be doing. i guess im lazy. i've seen some of them straight up crash and burn in wfg and quit, then i've seen the others reach new heights. they tell me that you can only make it if u are willing to put in long hours and hard work

  • WFG should be outlawed. It's a company where one size fits all. They are not real financial planners. Everyone gets an IUL (If your only life licensed) or a VUL (If your securities & life licensed) WHY? Because its the only products that pay. Everything thing else pays very little. Beware of the cult like leaders in the company that will suck you dry and promise you the world. The only thing they care about is making money of you while you struggle to pay your bills.

    WARNING STAY AWAY!!

  • My wife and I were in the company in BREA CA, for sevaral months and NOTHING came of it after passing all the securities testing! ED Mylett is a complete JACKASS!

  • wfg is a scam

  • A friend was approached by a woman while fishing. 4 days later I find she now has life insurance and she learned "With my current state of affairs, retirement would be impossible. I would be working until the day I die." after that and 100 on a background check, and borrowing 230+ from her mom for training I told her it sounds fishy. She said "To start your own business it costs money. That is essentially what I am doing on a small scale." Sure sounds fishy to me.. hope I can set her straight.

  • i would say wfg and primerica have nothing in common.. primerica dont sell any type of cash value life insurance... and primerica is a public traded company now... wfg change its name every time they go thru some type of legal actions it seem like... and primerica has its own life company and wfg is a broker that only sell products from its other company... wfg was also one of the companies selling bad loans, and primerica only did fix rates...

  • I went to their presentation in Colorado. They never mentioned their old name, WMA. WMA has many litigations against it. Couldn't a multi billion dollar company pay for their own godamn $100 background check? Fuck WFG.

  • @Pepper6464 Aegon bougth them out u retard ,they named it wfg after and they havent had a problem since ,research before you open you mouth!

  • @pozarclothing I did the research fucktard! You are probably one of those slimeballs who work for them and no I don't work for Primerica. WMA had been associated with fraud with class action lawsuits, and NASD disciplinary actions. WMA supposely ramped up their compliance before acquisition with Aegon in 2001 and renamed WFG (WONDER FUCKERS GROUP). The Humphrey culture of MLM is still present in WFG. WFG is and will always be a pyramid/mulitlevel marketing scheme.

  • @Pepper6464 so what MLM whats so bad about MLM??? please let me know.

  • @airrick You have to buy into the program. Too much focus on recruiting. Drop out rate is about 60%.Encourage to buy their life insurance to add to your credibility. Independent Contractors are liable for securities fraud or any of the related criminal penalties promoting someone elses products. Market opportunity to people who have no financial background and are down-and-out and desperate.Unprofessional workplace - racist jokes and harassment - I've been on a job shadow

  • @Pepper6464 Racist jokes and harassment was made by the branch founder in CO to an asian female colleague. The jokes was, "What do call an asian family when their dog runs away?" Answer "A family that lost their dinner." "What do you call an asian family with dogs and cats?" Answer "Ranchers." I'm not lying, I've been on multiple job shadows with WFG.

  • @Pepper6464 You dont have to buy the product to join, you choose to after understanding it, if you dont want to, 60 percent drop out rate because people are generally lazy and they honestly dont treat it like a business they treat it like a get rich quick scheme. Unprofessional Work Place - Depends on your office I can say only good things about mine. ALL MY MD's are Asian woman. If you think they are racist , tell that to my MD's who make plenty of money without knowing much English.

  • @airrick True, people drop out because they view it a as quick rich scheme and not as a business opportunity but people also drop out because they have a conscious and feel that harassing friends and family for corporate gain is immoral. One branch founder said if you are uncomfortable calling people on your list than give it to somebody else. They recruit so those on top wont have to work again and to get more referrals. If it’s too good to be true it probably is.

  • @Pepper6464 The products are backed up by contracts with muilti-billion dollar company's, Whats wrong with trying to sell to your family and friends? Its called network marketing, it sure beats the hell out of cold calling or walking door to door saying im a financial planner. Everyone needs a place to get started, so we start with our warm market, hence network marketing. Your family might say no, they might see value in the product and say yes, its not like we are Cheating them, itsa policy.

  • @Pepper6464 by the way all your so called rebuttals were just you repeating the same thing you said the first time in different words. Thats all everyone ever says, but no one have ever said HOW they were scammed legally, all they do is complain and call it a scam because they have to do things ( marketing) or what not that they dont feel comfortable with. But still that's just a feeling legally its not a scam.

  • @airrick I am licensed in health, life, and accident insurance. Those who start out unlicensed are expected to get only their life. I came in already licensed and I have worked in another insurance company before. I know the products, attended weekly meetings, and passed WFG University. Why would an experienced person like me be "trained" by doing nothing? Why not practice in front of friends and family instead having the trainer do all the work? Why not do a mock presentation with the trainer?

  • @airrick Even if I was not licensed, why would I need to be licensed when we are just "practicing" not selling? Your opinion on why the trainer does all the work because you are not licensed does not make sense. I think the training isn't really training at all, just an opportunity for someone else to close business or get referrals from your networks.

  • @Pepper6464 Sorry but I don't want to continue to embarass you anymore but since WFG is an association and not a corporation you are responsible for your own criminal record check. You're in business, not working for someone else now. Get your head around it and find out the difference between assoications and corporations.

  • @runescapegeeklol If you are in business by yourself, how come you only get a small slice of the profits while the rest moves up the chain in the pyramid? Lining someone elses pocket with money is WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE. No, you're not in business by yourself, you have people to train you and follow company protocols. So basically you are in your own business but not by yourself, paying for your own expenses and leads, but also creating wealth for those on top of the pyramid.

  • @Pepper6464 wow your stupid, WMA had its problems that is true, however it was never closed by the government, it was bought out by ageon and they changed its name. WFG / WMA is a finicinal marketing company that markets financial products. Also they can, but why would they when they want to offer a oppurtunity to 1000's of people + a month, its a added expense.

  • @airrick You don’t have to buy the product and the WFG “bible” but you must pay the $100 admin cost entry fee. Your female asian MD makes so much without knowing much English because she tapped into the underserved market of the Asian community which has less competition than the larger American market. They are obsessed with recruiting. You must recruit in order to be promoted. They call it team building but in actuality it is adding onto the giant pyramid. Their logo is a pyramid.

  • @Pepper6464 whats wrong with recurting? Whats wrong with it being a MLM and selling a useful product to your friends and faimly. If you dont beleive in the product then dont buy it, but if you don't beleive in it and your trying to sell it to your friends and family then that's your problem. Real estate brokers hire agents on commission bases all the time. Big wow a 100 dollars, thats so much money. If your not willing to invest 100 dollars for admin purpose then its not business.

  • @airrick If I wanted to recruit, I would be in HR and if I wanted to market, I would be in marketing. Aegon teamed up with WFG b/c it's cheaper having independent contractors liable for their own businesses rather than spend capital on their own HR and marketing departments. It's a smart business plan without all the costs and liabilities; those costs are on average people looking for honest work instead. I wouldn't say it's an outright scam, per se, just an unethical business practice.

  • @airrick A multi-billion dollar company could pay for their own administration cost rather than having people fork over $100. In this terrible economy, $100 means a lot to struggling families, so don't say it isn't a big deal because it is a big deal. People work hard for many hours and struggle just to make an extra $100. Sure it's a business investment but why do they target those who are struggling to pay rent and not willing to pay to work? Most people who work for WFG were laid off.

  • @airrick WFG does not require a college education, no background in finances, no minimum years of experience, no aptitude exams, and no drug exams, so why would anybody trust a kid straight out of high school give them finanical advice? I just checked their website and they said the $100 isn't for a background check, it's just for administration costs so they don't even do criminal background checks. How would you feel if the person you work with was a thief, a rapist or, a felon?

  • @Pepper6464

dude where to being.. it's people like you that are ruining our society.

You need to be liscenced with the governemtn to be able to do any financial advice. Now if you think that process is easy then think again. Also, if you think you can obtain a liscence with the government while having a criminal record, then you sir are a huge idiot. No more needs to be said. Only an experiencved person in the field designs a plan for the family. Get yourself educated before u open ur mouth.

  • @runescapegeeklol Moron, I don't question getting license to do business, I just question the need to be license when you are just practicing, not doing business. I don't question getting criminal background checks, I question why WFG doesn't do those. You should carefully read what I said before you open your big fat mouth. It's people like you who are ruining society, being a mindless slave to big government and corporations.

  • Comment removed

  • @airrick People don't like to feel used and being sold. Friends and family helping you train is one thing, selling them something is completely different. Commercializing your relationships cheapens your relationships and violates trust. Your relationships could be damaged if the products you sold them weren't as good. You have no control over the quality of the products and its hidden costs. Products changes frequently. As an associate, you just have to pick and choose as best as you can.

  • Here's the deal. I am currently with WFG. Am Life & health licensed. Have been on multiple training presentations--both 1st & 2nd appointments. The WFG scam artists represent themselves as "independent brokers" who give clients multiple choices with regards to offering VUL's or GIUL's from "various companies." They lie about offering the client "the best policy available from over dozens of different insurance companies such as State Farm, Allstate, MetLife, NYLife, etc.",

  • @TheeMellaFella ok so what are the pros and cons about GIUL that wfg offers compared to the other insurance company's that offer GIUL? Also like you said you have only been to a few training classes, and it shows, all the insurance company;s that you say we offer state farm , and new york life are our competitors we do NOT OFFER their products we cant even if we wanted to they are a exclusive agency's meaning they sell their own products on a exclusive basis.

  • WFG IS A SCAM

  • @LeonidasSpartans How so?

  • @LeonidasSpartans positively an absolute scam and i am crying because it is part of the fraud of the president of the United States of America. Congress unseal the files of CV2000-020887 in the State of Arizona Superior and Supreme Court and you will find Bank One Obama link. THE PRESIDENT IS A CROOKED ATTORNEY.

    RESIGN OBAMA JULY 15/2010.

  • @Rikardiho not LOL. WFG is the biggest WTF (what the fraud). In sealed files in Arizona linked to the global banking fraud which is going on due to the fraudulent estate of my person DECEASED using my company of ZENADEV. Obama is involved with Bank One. McCain. DHS Janet. Harry Reid Reit. Nancy Pelosi the Pill. These crooks need to be indicted with a few more. Unseal CV2000-020887 in Maricopa County Arizona and all lawsuits public Superior and in Sandra Day O'Connor Courthouse. Linked to 911 lie

  • okay first off someone from primerica and someone from wfg shouldnt be arguing and if you are dont bring up the name of your company, wfg is an extention of primerica. it is the upgrade of primerica. so being that its almost a sister company you shouldnt bash their lack in products and knowledge.

  • @Thefallingunknownxx lol how are they sister company's , how are they even associated , please tell me,.

  • BTW.

We are life/health licensed first with WFG. then we get our Securities License as soon as possible. That's the difference. We all learn as much as possible and from those who run the various companies that we deal with to teach us the truth not your lies that your supervisor tells you. Learn about what you're doing before you turn off all those potential clients that I could be helping.

  • they are a publicly traded company and are part of a company called aegon who is worth over $460 billion and were in forbes fortune 100. sure a 1/2 trillion dollare 150 year old scam sounds possible....

  • banterhead and metalking the american corporate structure is based on a pyramid all businesses are lets see you start up a business you hire people under you then when you get larger you hire more people and expand with all those people under you that sounds like a pyramid. and wfg is not a pyramid that was a ignorant statement to make you probably dont know what one is so ill explain it to you. its when you have to recurit to make money you dont have to recruit to be successful or make money

  • It's great company. Works only if you work hard. Some people thinking that they come in to this business make money easily and quit when failed once. It is a job, just like any other jobs. It's not a scam. One person told me "its like they are trying to sell me something" and the answer is "yes, we are trying to sell you something, it's life insurance, duh!" I think its a good thing that a lot of ppl are afraid to join WFG, that way, there will be less competitions.

  • @fennnyyy great point,

  • Many people are leaving the Northridge,Ca. office of WFG to join a company called PHP.You should definitely check with FINRA and the California Department of Insurance before doing business with either company.Especially 2 individuals named Jorge Pelayo and Patrick BetDavid-Beware!

  • Bad Press is bad press... this I understand!

CIBC Bank lied to me when they promised 5%, signed me up, then called to inform me that my line of credit is approved. I was welcome to start using my line of credit at 7% instead of the 5% I was already approved for when I filled p the forms. They said the computer (Which approved me already) didn't let the application through with 5%. That is a scam. And their "Advisors" aren't even licensed to sell insurance, but they do. That is scamming clients

  • The products are good, no complain. As long as they are explained well to the clients, and they fit the clients needs, I don't believe one person can be ready to sell these products in 2 weeks. And I hate the way theylie to people when they are recruited. They would lie and tell you anything to recruit you(because of the points). Hate the meetings, all the fake recognitions, lies, and more lies, plenty of them, and if you do not agree, guess what?, you are not a winer!!, stop the lies!!

  • I agree. sometimes i do hate the recruiting section of the business because of what i've had seen through certain examples. But in fact by joining the company it is up to you to treat the business as your own business or be old mr. "I work for someone else". with that said how you treat your prospects and your team is yours to decide.

  • @elamericas so, let me guess this straight, basically all you do is complain, dont go to meetings and expect to make money? I dont care if your still in WFG or not but your statement is so stupid i had to respond. Recurting you gives you us points. So what? We hope you suceed, If i am going to spend time helping you build yourself and teaching your the products I want you to go to meetings. The awards are for recognitions of the things you do how is your team building your self esteem bad?
