  • The economy is the center of gravity of American global power. It’s the source of U.S. influence and the means of supporting our military might. Economic hard times brought sagging U.S. global influence, so the solution today is returning to pro-growth policies in the same way tax reform spurred the Reagan economic boom and the accompanying restoration of American power in the world. -EDITORIAL: Cain’s foreign policy The Washington Times Thursday, November 24, 2011

  • "The three pillars of Mr. Cain’s foreign-policy vision are defense, the economy and energy. He thinks the automatic defense budget cuts triggered by the failure of the congressional deficit supercommittee to come up with meaningful deficit-reduction measures are outrageous. “You don’t lead with a formula,” he said. Forcing massive budget cuts on a department that is already stripped down is “absolutely insane.” -EDITORIAL: Cain’s foreign policy The Washington Times Thursday, November 24, 2011

  • "One of the digs at Ronald Reagan before he was president was that he lacked a keen grasp of foreign policy. ..... Surely, critics argued, he couldn’t match the abilities of people with real-world experience like George H.W. Bush or John Connally. Once in office, Reagan demonstrated that principle and vision could more than make up for inexperience. He had a good plan and stuck to it; the rest was just a matter of details." -Nov 24 W Times

  • Cain is the biggest fool on the GOP ticket

  • Cain has my vote. Not just because I agree with him on Israel, but because we need Jobs, jobs, jobs. 999

  • @jager3607, is it "so NOT true"?

Reagan, when asked what his objectives in dealing with the Soviets was, replied "we win, they lose."

Sounds pretty black and white to me. The Soviets went from at least militarily equal to the United States when Reagan assumed office to the Berlin Wall collapsing at the end of the decade.

Sorry, but sometimes simplicity of knowing what the goals are, clearly articulating them, and then having the will to achieve them IS the correct way; it's worked before.

  • What a joke. Fucking neo-conservative Zionist rapist.

  • It's as if Herman Cain thinks foreign policy is black and white. That is so NOT true! It is foggy and always will be. Herman Cain is ignorant.

  • @jager3607 Than make it clear!!!

  • I 'M 48 YRS OLD AND WAS'NT BORN YESTERDAY ENOUGH TO KNOW YOU DON'T JACK SHIT MY STATUS QUO BRO!!!
