G-lab True Bypass Wah Pad - Demo

Hmm . . . I see no reason why you couldn't plug any old effect into this beastie and have a foot-activated momentary on switch for anything. Seems to me it's a relatively simple momentary switch connected to a small effects loop. It'd be interesting to use it for an octave or distortion pedal, only employing it for certain notes or phrases. Hm hm hm . . .

This pad makes it so your wah pad is only in your effects loop (modding the regular sound of your guitar) when your foot is actually on it. Otherwise it's not affecting your sound at all - true bypass.

Impressive but this functionality comes as standard with Morley Wah pedals. The Tremonti and the Bad Horsey definitely have this. There is no switching used on either of these models. As soon as you step on them they start working. I think this is great (that's why I own a Tremonti Wah)and always thought that the Dunlop models lacked good functionality as they don't incorporate this.

thats the one thing i hate about my slash wah is haveing to click it on and off, only problem with this thing is i have a habbit of leaving my foot on the wah when im sitting, that and i dont think my mrs would be to happy with me wanting to spend more money on guitar gear :)

There are thousands of players better than me, It's really nothing to do with how good a player you are.. It's how much exposure you can give a product, and wether you can give that exposure in the way the company wants. I like Rick I think he's great. No because the power is coming from the G-Lab device and not the Wah, it only sends power to the WAh when it is needed, you can also power it with an adapter :-)
