I think Kelly winning hit the deepest part of her soul. Sparking the power of her passion and talent. She deserved this moment and all the moments afterwards.

I noticed that most of the winners that stay in the spotlight and make it big all the females that win. Like Kelly and and Carrie as well and Jordan Sparks. You dont hear much about some winners like Ruben Studdard and other males. That doesnt mean they werent or arent any good .. I guess they just didnt have the same effect on listeners

Its a lot about promotion. For a little while Kelly wasn't selling that well and then she hit over seas and now she is beginning to build it all back. I don't mean that she wasn't popular but for a while Carrie over shadowed her. It is all about promotion. Personally I am a big Clay Aiken fan and he was hurt by bad promotion. I hope she keeps getting good promotion because she is a very talented singer. Just needs to take care of her voice.
