help please.I've recorded my backing track in TRACK 1 and guitar solo on TRACK 2. The problem is the backing track is also recorded on TRACK 2 together with the solo. how can record only the solo part in track 2?
1) i appreciate you taking the time to make these tutorials. Ignore anyone giving negative comments. You took the time to do this for free.
2) Someone has probably mentioned it, but it is easy to set key in V-vcoal. Just hit the "scale " key and the corresponding key on the mimi keyboard next to it and select major or minor.
3) Stop saying your stuff is wack. It's a tutorial. Anyone who expects a top-40 hit during a tutorial is an idiot and undeserving of your policies.
If you want v-vocal to play in a certain key automatically, press the root note on the tiny little piano in the lower left corner & next to that is a major/minor selection button...Thanks for the tutorial much appreciated.
i have a great mic that was round 200 and all bt im just havin trouble with getttin the vocals to the right vloume so that its not to loud, but you can hear it clear enough is there an effect that can center it or somethin
im recording with sonar too.. got the latest version right now .. the 8. im an artist too so i dont know much about the program itself. just recorded and sent the vokals to get em mixed. right now ima try to figure out how to mix. maybe u can help me out with that.. peace and thanks for the videos from germany
@maskerade45 can you tell me what mic youre using?....and im currently using usb so the latency is bad. i wanted to make it better but looks like ill have to buy a condenser mic with a phantom powered sound card
I use an MXL 4000. It was only about $200. You should get an audio interface with an xlr mic chord, of course with phantom power. If you're going to spend the money, go with the audio interface.

@maskerade45 Can you use Sonar 8 with either a Samson CO1U USB Mic or a AKG Mic or a Neumann Mic?
