@HyperSonicXtreme When Sonic is in a BALL... ORB... SPHERE... whatever you want to call it. He's NOT supposed to lose momentum or any speed when going downhill. If you roll any round object down a slope do you think it'll stop? It's simple stuff like this that makes SEGA seem weirdly forgetful.
@GregzillaGT Fundamentally, yes. What I played certainly wasn't bad by any means, and with the assurance that it was a much earlier build, I'm hoping they plan to do more with the levels. All the same however, what I played would have been fine for a DS title, but I can't help but expect a 3DS version should still be able to produce full 3D segments with modern Sonic. After all, those portions are supposed to be part of what divides the classic and modern Sonic identities.
@Gamentropy Are you kidding me? Sonic 3 and Knuckles PWNS Sonic 1 and 2 i think most fans would agree to this Sonic 3 and Knuckles is the best Sonic Game Ever(if you meant by "Deviation" that S3&K was bad)!
@bardhi09 I meant "deviation" exactly in the sense that it marked changes to the formula. Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my favorite game in the series, but the Sonic Generations level felt a little more in key with the first two games than the latter Genesis entries, and that's all I was noting.
@Gamentropy Oh sorry then ^_^' i thought you said that S3&K was bad cuz the word "Deviation" can be misunderstood although S3&K actually stood with the Formula but added new things such as the Insta-Shield and the Elemental Shields,The Level Design was vastly improved and the Physics were improved too!
@Gamentropy SEGA doesn't care about 3D gameplay anymore, they gave up on that... It's going to be 2D and "2.5D" from now on... Any "3D" you think you experience is going to be on a 3 foot / 1 metre wide track... Hardly a notable 3D platform gaming experience.
Despite that, they've pretty much mastered 2D Sonic gameplay... Again. SEGA fails at making 3D Sonic platformers, unfortunately. Also... Why can't we play Tails alongside Sonic anymore in co-op? Sonic 2 did it... why can't we do it now?
controls still feel unpolished......overall good demo

ISSUES:
-If you fall onto an enemy from a high point, you're supposed to bounce back up to the height from which you fell. No matter the distance.
-If you spindash onto a halfpipe and then jump midway through, you're supposed to gain far more airtime!
-If you hit a spring while running, it's not supposed to stop your momentum!!
-Sonic is too heavy.
-Orbs don't stop when rolling downhill.
-Sonic CD spring animation should've been used IMO. The death animation is wrong and camera is too far.

@Xilosphere
Don't complain here, complain on Twitter and copy/paste the issues on Sega's Twitter.

@HyperSonicXtreme Superb idea, but I can't figure out how to send messages or post ANYTHING on Twitter other than a tweet... WTF

A lot of people are saying the 3DS version looks much less impressive/fun than the console version. Would you agree?
