  • Dude your the best! Without your video's I'd be lost not knowing what to do. I always wanted to make my own T-shirts and now I know how. Thanks So much! I am definitely getting myself one of these :)

  • @RBFORRS You’re welcome. It’s my pleasure to help out and share information. Thank you very much for taking the time to let me know how much you are getting out of my educational efforts online. I appreciate that. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • How could you invert that design and then be able to transfer it to a dark shirt? why can't this style be applied to dark shirts? How can you add color? thanks.

  • @TheMasterzMultimedia To use a heat transfer on a dark T-shirt you will need to use heat transfers that are made for dark garments. This particular transfer paper will not work on dark garments. But this paper will work in a color laser printer therefore adding color. There is no way this particular transfer paper will work on black shirts because laser printers cannot print white ink. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions where can i get this self weeding paper??

  • @GameRaider20 I do believe you can get the Image Clip laser transfer paper from RhinoTech on the Print Supplies page of the Catspit website. Look for the heat transfers link on the RhinoTech listing and make sure to use the discount code to get 5% off list pricing. The link for the website is on the YouTube channel page. I appreciate your support! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • I want to make Ron Paul Supporter shirts.

  • @SouljaAli810Flint Nice! Good luck.... Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Where do I get the software, I've already got the Self Weeding transfer paper, but like the printer and stuff?

  • @SouljaAli810Flint You should be able to use any color laser printer which you can purchase where you like. I would test the paper before you buy anything to see that you like the results. You can use any number of different imaging software programs like Photoshop or Gimp to print the images form to the transfer paper. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • love ur vids bro ...

  • @MCm0u5e Glad you like my videos, very cool. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @catpit....what is the Result of this transfer after washing..because i had a bad experience with transfer paper ..

  • @Akalprints Oh yes, some are definitely better than others. This self weeding transfer paper tends to crack and not wash so well. They work best on 50/50 poly/cotton. Honestly I like the way the Avery inkjet transfers work with a heat press but they are not self weeding. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • 5:01 .... five minutes and one second... they cut the video..

  • @lebron12341 Yes, I did edit the video. Sometimes I have to cut out unnecessary babbling from myself to maintain the time limits. It’s just a heat transfer, there is no magic here, no video tricks. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • i have an epson wf 1100, can this self weeding paper be used for this printer. if not what kind of selfweeding paper can i use. or what printer would i have to buy. I need your help please.

  • @DJSoloish No, this is a laser transfer paper. It will not work in inkjet printers. I wouldn’t know what transfer paper to recommend as I do not use them commercially. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • how long have you seen your designs lasting on the shirts using this method? thanks

  • @NVNO1tr I don’t like the self-weeding laser transfer paper as much as the Avery inkjet heat transfers. The Avery transfers can last for many years and look great. This stuff as it uses plastic toner tends to crack and fade quickly over the first year. Good for novelty tees but not commercial production. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Thanks for the video .....

  • @MOBILEWORKZSOCAL No problem, my pleasure. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @prommagloves92 No problem. Thanks for the support! ☠

  • @prommagloves92 No, I wouldn’t think so. This is a laser transfer paper. Foils are designed to adhere to plastisol inks and adhesives. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • what kind of laser printer work for this please reply soon

  • @NEWORLEANSTALENT1 I think most any color or black only laser printer will work. I believe it will work with toners that have oil and those that do not. But you should always check with the manufacturer if you have questions on their products. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions JUST BOUGHT A BROTHER HL-4150 CDN COLOR LASER PRINTER AFTER WATCHIN THE VIDEO NOW THE LADY WITH THE HEAT TRANFER SELF WEEDING PAPER SAYING IT WONT WORK WITH THIS PRINTER..S.M.H

  • @NEWORLEANSTALENT1 Yup, I have heard the company who makes this stuff says it won’t work with this and that. I do not sell or endorse the product. I’m just demonstrating what’s out there. With transfer papers it’s always wise to buy some transfer paper first test it using a Kinkos or a friend’s printer before making major investments to use the product. I don’t use any heat transfers for commercial work. This stuff is just for fun. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions YOUR WELCOME IT WORKED FOR ME PLUS I BOUGHT A VINYL CUTTER MAN THIS THING IS GREAT

  • @NEWORLEANSTALENT1 Great, I’m happy to hear that. Have fun and good luck! Thanks for the support! ☠

  • Good vid!

  • @xqspx Thank you! Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • cant use by iron......;(

  • @X69Xblack LOL, no not this transfer paper. You need a heat press for sure. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Finally i decided to go for plastisol heat transfer for now for my t shirt business.. since i cant buy screen printing equipment now ...

any suggestions from you ?? ?

  • @ihavemyid If you want to print plastisol heat transfers at home, you may be able to set it up with a table top situation using hinge clamps, a table you can screw them into and a screen. Then you can make a jig for the transfer paper to be placed on the table surface. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • and are there any self weeding paper available for inkjet printer ?

since its 2011 now :) some 1 must have figured out ..

    can u sugges any gud 1 ? if thr's any :)

    Thank you

  • @ihavemyid Yes, I believe so. But I don’t use heat transfer papers much at all so I can’t recommend one. Just Google it. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Hey Hi , Im back again :)

i want to know ..Self Weeding Transfer paper can be used only with sublimation ink ?

I have epson R 230 and normal ink i don't know whether it is sublimation ink ..

and if its not can i use sublimation inks in these inkjet printers ?

    Thank You :)

and Sorry For coming evry now and then :)

  • @ihavemyid This is laser heat transfer paper. Not sublimation. And your printer has regular inks in it unless you changed them out to sublimation inks. No consumer office printer comes with sublimation inks. You have to buy them specially and switch them out. They will only work in inkjet printers. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • how can i find out if my printer can print stuff out for a heat transfer? i currently have the hp photosmart c3180 all in one printer.. any help and advice would be great im lookin to do this as a hobby

  • @HydrantOne3 That’s easy, only inkjet printers can print inkjet heat transfers and only laser printers will print laser heat transfers. The product will be made specifically for one or the other. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • where can i get some good rip software ? i cant find one

  • @fgeneration I just bought mine, finally. I’ll let you all know as soon as I use it some. Or maybe not, if I don’t want to recommend it…LOL. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • does this work on65% polyester 35% cotton AND on black material??

  • @chern1172 It would work on poly cotton blends but not on blacks. Remember, traditional laser printers that I know of do not print any white ink. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • greetings! sir i do have a problem, whenever i print using self weeding transfer paper. it leaves a yellowish/orange color. will it washed away after i washed it? will it be gone soon after? tnx in advance!

  • @loopz321 I’m not sure what that would be. Perhaps the shirt is scorching in the heat press? Or maybe the artwork is laying down some yellow? I dunno. I would have to be there to help with this one I think. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Hi...Love your videos. Would like to know what RIP software would work best with HP 1312 nfi color laser printer (any suggestions?)

  • @cstephen680 I’m not sure about that one. I use all Epson printers for inkjet so the RIP software I have seen works with Epson mostly because they dominate the market for this purpose. Glad you like my videos… Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions I have been searching for a RIP software to use with my Epson printer also..looking for something that is hopefully free. I noticed you used two papers in the video (was that for a laser or inkjet?) In addition, I checked the link you mentioned to look for the paper but couldn't find it. found something similar or ebay but not sure if it's the same since most of these paper has different quality. I am trying to look for self weeding with inkjet and found nothing so far

  • @cstephen680 This is for laser printers. I don’t know about self-weeding inkjet transfer papers. I don’t use them commercially. There are some out there but you have to research them to see how good they are. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Your videos are damn good I subscribed. I wonder how much do I have to pay for a extension of 6 colors and the cure dryer machine. I'm looking forward to start a shirt business. Where can I buy it from?

  • @Harkadenn Thank you very much! You can find the cost of equipment on my website. I sell RANAR equipment. The link for the website is in the video description and on the channel page. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • can u print the images on any printer?

  • @Wolf201025 No, you need to use a laser printer with this transfer paper. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions why can you not just use a normal printer for and just put the paper in it?

  • @Wolf201025 Because this product is made for a laser printer. It will not work properly with an inkjet printer. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @Wolf201025 can you use the laser printer "Brother HL-4040CN? Could any laser printer like that work?

  • @Wolf201025 I believe this can work with most any color or black and white laser printer. Some transfer papers for laser printers are sensitive to toner oils. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • can i use any kind of printer?

  • @meno0chanN No, you need to use a laser printer with this transfer paper. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • These are very great videos. I am trying to start doing some personal heat transfer printing. One question that i am trying to figure out. Do all transfers require pre press and printing or is there a way to print the design straight to the paper??? Please help

  • @jdmoo3 Thanks! Most self weeding papers will need to be printed and then pressed to the adhesive before pressing the shirt. If you want to print and then go directly to pressing you would have to use a standard transfer paper or use a different digital transfer process. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Hello I'm interested in printing some T's and stickers and came across this video and your others. I guess my question is why heat transfer is it better for smaller jobs? I see them priced at around $200.00 for smaller ones which is not to bad. Thanks for your time and I look forward to viewing all of your videos.

  • @MrOldFunker Screen printing requires a lot of pre press set up and labor especially if the design is color intense or complex. With digital processes like transfers and direct to garment, there is no set up except for the artwork. It cuts out a ton of labor. But the process can be limiting. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions No thanks required I've subscribed it's hard to find quality information like this and not only that you take the time to respond to comments and questions. A sign of a good business well done.

  • @MrOldFunker What a very nice comment. Thanks. I appreciate you taking the time to say so. That means a lot. Thanks for the support! ☠

  • Great info. but dude you really talk to much , talk about the same thing over and over again

  • @gotshirts2ink That’s because if I am not very clear about things, I get asked the same questions over and over even when the video answers those questions. I’m just trying to be clear and easily understood. I have to answer a lot of questions every day. I do my best. Just consider yourself one of those who get it right away. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • iv never been here before but this is the ONLY video tjhat acctualy helped me i am soo subbing

  • @xXeMiLlXxPL Thanks so much! I’m happy to help out. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • ive ordered a Heat Transfer 16 by 24 can i also use this Technique on black shirts ? and can the Transfer paper be any bigger then the default 81/2 by 11'' ?. Thanks

  • @HtownJavi This paper does not work on black shirts. I’m not sure what sizes it comes in. You can find the link for it on my website on the Transfer Articles page. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • best f en video ive seen grate man cool stuff. question what printer should i get thats all grate video

  • @BrownTownRecords Thank you! Glad you like the video. You can use any good working color laser printer for this transfer paper. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Hey, so iv been trying out the selfweeding paper and iv been coming into a problem. The laserprinters iv used don't lay down enough ink. Is that a setting change I need to make? Or, what brand/model laser printer do you recommend using? Anyone please let me know there opinion - penningtondustin@yahoo.com

  • @penningtondustin You can try a heavy paper setting but I think it’s typical of a laser transfer. They only lay down so much toner. Unless you have a wicked professional laser printer perhaps. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • hi with this paper after you do the first step can you do more than one at a time and leave it so your not constantly changing the temperature?

  • @Nathan5373 Yes, you can do the first part for several transfers and then raise the temp and do all the pressing at once. Not a problem. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • hi what is the name of the transpaper that u used in this video, and you printer, if you want to do colour on the paper does it matter what printer you use?

  • @TETEixora No problem, this is a color laser transfer paper. You can find the link for it on the Transfer Articles page of the Catspit website. You must use a laser printer, color or black only. And I don’t suggest using this paper without at least a heat press. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • I'm very impressed your video, how to buy your tranfering paper and how much the minimum order of this and how about the shipping cost. I'm here in the Philippines

  • @jerryfontsi Thank you! I don’t sell it myself but you can find the link on the Transfer Articles page of the Catspit website. The site link is on the channel page and in the video description. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • Thank you for showing the two stage process. I couldn't grasp this until I saw you do it. Can you prep all the sheets first before transferring them onto the t-shirts? I only have 1 press available and can't imagine switching from low to high temp for every shirt. Thank you again.

  • @PLTWCastro You’re welcome. It’s my pleasure to help out and share information. Yes, you can complete the entire first step and have them peeled and ready to press to the shirts. Then turn up the heat and do all of the shirts. No problem there. The first stage is simply transferring the adhesive to the areas of toner. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • whats the best printer to use ? i just want the best quality for price on making tshirts what do i need a heat press, transfer paper and a printer anything else?

  • @bwiddup1 I like Epson printers. You’ll need a computer, graphic software, heat press, transfer papers or other heat applied processes, Teflon sheet, and various small tools to work with garments and transfers like scissors, trimmers, lint rollers, scorch out, inkjet ink or color toner, etc… Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • First. Why put two sheets of transfer paper over each other and you the process of ironing them II. Why put paper over the transfer paper crafts, and you ironing process.

  • @dknour This is a 2 part transfer process which makes it “self weeding”. The blank piece of paper is just to protect the transfer from the heating element. It really should be a Teflon sheet or craft paper but that may have been all I had at the time… lol. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • is there a certain ink i need to use for the transfer paper or can i just use any kind of ink?

  • @DaBohlsak This is a laser printer heat transfer paper so you can use most normal color laser printers and their toners. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • is it possible to print on the back of hoodie like the hood part?

  • @EneriOtaku Perhaps: if you use the corner of the heat press pallet to put the hood onto. You could do each side of the hood separately. It all depends on if you can get it onto the heat press and press it. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Can this transfer paper be used on a all-in-one laser printer? If not which one is the ideal, color or black laser printer?

  • @cutecrown You should be able to use any good working color laser printer to use this paper. The less rollers inside, the better but if the unit runs well it should be fine. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @cutecrown You can use any transfer paper in any decent working printer. Normally, the fewer rollers the transfer paper has to go through in the printer, the better. But if the printer is working well, you should be able to print heat transfers with it. I wouldn’t recommend an all in one for making the best prints but you should be able to use it. This paper is made for color laser printers. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions Thanks. I have one more question though. Can this paper be used on bright and dark colored fabrics or is it just white? Thanks

  • @cutecrown You’re welcome. This color laser transfer paper can only be used on white or very light colored garments. If it is an all black transfer, you can go on some colors too. My pleasure!

  • was the quality of the print looks fine?

  • @jefles7766 It produces a nice quality print. It can do some good detail and looks great. But you need a heat press. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • i like the design

  • @kaoliful Thank you! Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Do we really HAVE to use a pneumatic press?? What if I put about 60 pounds into the iron and pressed it for 30 seconds? I don't see why that wouldn't work..

  • @pendejadafcc Yes, it is suggested for the best, commercial results. You can use a standard heat press with the pressure maxed out but an iron will never reach the temperature of a heat press even if you press real hard. Irons do not get nearly as hot as heat presses and they cannot spread the heat evenly and consistently enough for a professional transfer. The press I use here is not pneumatic. But you can always try it. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @garethwright91 Thanks much! I appreciate the comment!

  • is inkjet paper the same as transfer paper? O:

  • @Explorate No, standard inkjet paper is just that; paper. It is used for printing documents only. Inkjet heat transfer paper is very different and should cost a lot more too. Inkjet heat transfer paper is printed with an inkjet printer and used to transfer that print to a shirt. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Great video!

Can a colour blend/fade into the textile or do you need a solid colour or a stroke on the edge?

  • @xxxvr I think it can do some fades as long as the dot pattern is big enough to transfer. I did a hand drawing of a bull dog head once for a friend and it was a pencil drawing. This paper worked pretty well with all the tonal ranges during transfer. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Thank you so much for this video. I'm about to launch a business around printing my artwork on apparel ( hooded sweatshirts, specifically ), and your vid's are going a long way towards reducing my "learning curve". Thank you again!

  • @Time2AnteUp You are welcome! It is my pleasure to help out. I appreciate you taking the time to say thanks. That means a lot. Good luck to you. Thanks for watching!

  • Mr Catspit, is this economically viable? The laser one? Can you recommend the better one, heat press with vinyl cutter or this one?

  • @Reqrezentin Economical viability will depend on your quantities. This is a full color laser self weeding transfer paper. It will be able to do multi colored images and photographs unlike plotter cut vinyl. Plotter cut vinyl is great for 1 to 3 color designs and can be a very cost effective method. Transfer papers like this one can also be feasible. But each job should be weighed individually to find the best method of production versus cost. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • can you nswer a question for me? im printing shirts soon and id like to to a bigger image then my printer will allow. could I go to like kinkos and print these there? and is there bigger papr then that

  • @MarkFreakMagician I’m not certain what sizes this paper comes in but you could print it at some Kinkos in a bigger size or whatever if they can do it, or will do it. You can visit the Transfer Articles section of the Catspit website for the link to the paper featured in this video. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • nice video. can this be done on a colored shirt? like blue, yellow etc?

  • @angelpink312 Thank you. Not this particular transfer paper. This is for white or light garments only. You could do black only designs on a lot of light colored shirts and that looks pretty good but not really full color images. This is a full color laser transfer paper; I just used an all black printer. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions

thanks sir for the fast reply. but is there a self weeding paper for dark/colored garments?

  • @angelpink312 I understand that there are some self weeding transfers for dark garments but I am not familiar with them. There may be some inkjet ones. You will have to do a Google search for that product. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @angelpink312 I understand that there are some self weeding transfers for dark garments but I am not familiar with them. There may be some inkjet ones. You will have to do a Google search for that product. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • can i use that paper with a inkjet

  • @irulethe70s No, this is for laser printers only. But there are some self weeding transfer papers for inkjet too, I believe. Do a Google search. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions If i did this, would my Photosmart Premium C309-g work with it?

  • @irulethe70s No, I think that printer is an all in one inkjet printer. This transfer paper is for laser printers only. You would have to find inkjet transfer paper. I think there are a few that are self weeding now much like this paper but you must make sure the paper you use is either inkjet for inkjet printers or laser for laser printers. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions i meant for the inkjet

  • @irulethe70s Yes, you can use any good working inkjet printer with inkjet heat transfers. Thanks for your support.

  • how can we know if the quality of the paper transfer,is a good one?

  • @MrJohnnyboy1978 You really just have to test the paper and see how it works. I know of no other way. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • nice video...full detail...just one question, how long can the pictures last????

  • @MrJohnnyboy1978 Thank you very much. I suppose that really depends on the quality of the transfer, application and shirt. But they will last for a few years, maybe more depending on the way in which they are laundered and how often they are worn. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Thank you, this is very helpful to us. Your videos give very detailed information. I have a few questions. What if the design is larger than a4 size? Should i buy a bigger printer and paper? Or I can join the two printouts and press it to the shirt? Is it true that the self weeding paper will not adhere to black shirts?

  • @TheMadkahuna You are welcome! If you want to print larger than 8.5X11 inches you will need a bigger printer and bigger transfer paper. Most all inkjet and laser transfer paper is made for white or very light colored shirts unless it states otherwise. There are some made for dark shirts. Read more about heat transfers on the Catspit website under the Transfer Articles tab. There’s some great info there for you that will explain this more. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • good job ... very understandable 5 star

  • @lifewish777 Thanks so much! It is my pleasure to help out. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • great t shirt ! one question i want to start with a heat press but do the designs you print onto the transfer paper it a black text logo would it just put the letters on or does it leave it with the clear film thing like iron on transfers do and what printer do you use . thanks!

  • @RupertNorth This is a self weeding transfer paper. There isn’t any adhesive in the negative areas of your design. I use a Samsung laser printer for this laser heat transfer paper. You should probably watch the video again because it answers those questions and more right in the video. Good stuff! Enjoy and good luck. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions thanks ive just bought my laser printer , i understand it now .... how durable is it , how has the print held up after washing .thanks

  • @RupertNorth Great that is nice to hear; it’s my pleasure to help out. The durability and longevity of a heat transfer is mostly related to the application and then the quality of the transfer paper itself. Check out the video called - How To Screen Print: Inkjet Heat Transfers Vs. Screen Printing. That one shows some transferred shirts that are pretty old and worn well. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • Does anybody know what side of the transfer paper to print the design on? the cotton-like side or the plastic-like side? If that makes any sense..

  • @1SheLaughs The paper should be marked on one side and very easy to know which side to print. If not, is it transfer paper? Print the side which looks like it is coated paper, not bare paper. Perhaps the "plastic" side for you. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • They just put out new image transfer sheets that prints soft, stretchy, and vibrant colors on most material. They don't sell them at local stores you got to order them they are not expensive either. hot or cold peel and you can wash the shirt following the shirts wash instructions, click my channel to see the video demo.

  • Hey. What's the ideal printer for transfer papers? Because me and my friend are going to start a t-shirt printing business in our locality. And we've been scouting for printers.

BTW, thanks for the info about this self-weeding paper. We ended our argument by finding this kind of process about printing with white spaces inside solid designs.

  • @dthegonzo I really wouldn’t know about that. I do not sell these shirts commercially. This is a home or hobby type thing I do to make some wicked multi color tees without all the trouble of screen printing for 1 shirt. None of the shirts I sell are heat transfers and you should thoroughly research the limitations of heat transfers on shirts before you get started. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • is there any self weeding transfer paper out there that can be used with an iron, and doesn't require the 60lbs pressure? thank you so much for your videos, you are so helpful!

  • @Nikto18 You are welcome. It is my pleasure to help out. I am not sure about that. I do not really do a lot of heat transfers and I never sell them commercially. I only sell screen printed garments. So I cannot direct you to the best self weeding laser or inkjet transfer paper to use with an iron. I dont know if that exists. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • The instructions from the manufacturer of this paper says NOT to use a teflon sheet or parchment paper when marrying the two papers together and I see that you did. It also says to peel cool at room temperature.

  • @pakt40 Actually, I am very familiar with this paper and it is most definitely a hot peel. It will not peel when cold. Also, the instructions do not say anything about a Teflon sheet at all, but if you dont use it, the adhesive polymer at the edges may stick to the heating plate. I am not sure which instructions for which paper you are looking at but you can find the instructions for this paper through the link on my website. The only thing I modified was the times and temps for my heat press.

  • hi my name is ricardo nedd to know where exacly can i get this transfers that you are using on this video? thanks

  • @cinefotopr - You have to visit the Transfer Articles page of the Catspit website. You may want to watch the video again because it tells you where to find the link for the transfers. And if you missed that, you may have missed other important information about this transfer paper. Thanks for watching!

  • Is that a special type of laser printer with special toners? or just normal home use laser?

  • Nope, it is just a regular laser printer. In fact, mine is an older black only model. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions Hi I watched this video many times now, I have 2 more question: 1. Will self weeding work if my art has gradient? Say it goes from Blue to white, will the white part still work? 2. I noticed the black on your t-shirt is not 100% black, it has greyish tone. Is it becuz you are using b+w laser? Or is that as "black" as it will get for these type of paper.

  • @jcudon Gradients or small dots may be lost in the knit with this transfer paper. Make the gradient with as big of a dot pattern as you can. But the paper does not lay down any white. The white would be the white in the shirt. These transfers may have looked grey in the video due to poor lighting but I can assure you they are quite black and a bit glossy when first pressed. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • cool and helpful video does the design feel smooth or rough

  • @surfinnet - Thanks! It is not rough but not totally smooth either. But when you wash it, it gets softer. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • heat transfer or screen printing?? I have a screen printing machine..

  • I am not sure what your question is. This is a laser heat transfer. I have other videos about screen printing. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • What'll happen if we iron it on?

  • @Robzor562 - Ironing will not provide enough heat or pressure to make a good transfer. The result will be substandard. This is professional grade paper made for use with a pneumatic heat press with about 60lbs of pressure. At the very least you should use a heat press set to maximum pressure. Thanks for watching!

  • good job dude....very informing....thanks for the info.... :)

  • Thank you very much! Im glad you found this video to be useful. Make sure to check out all of my videos. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • im really confused but i want to do this just the way u do it :\

  • Just keep watching and re-watch a video if you need to. Then if you have a specific question, feel free to ask. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Hey man, I am about to buy the transfer paper that is posted in your website, but my question is: dont you need to cut the printed image like what you did in your other videos? By the way great vids! Really educational!

  • @jessemagat - If you are referring to the self weeding, laser heat transfer paper, then that is just a link. I do not sell it. It is not my product. The link is there for your consideration and information only. This transfer paper must be used with at least a heat press. And it needs up to 60 lbs of pressure. The more the better. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Do you know exactly what kind of laser paper transfer you used?

  • @jessemagat - Yes, the link for the paper is on the Transfer Articles page of the Catspit website. You will have to go there to find out more about this self weeding laser transfer paper. I am not their salesman or spokes person, the link is there for your convenience and consideration. You will have to do some research on the paper yourself to see if it is what you need for your application. The link for the website is on the channel page and in the sidebar. Thanks for watching!
