  • "We the people, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity do Ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

I'm no fan of this bill, but NO BILL would suit both parties, so both parties should take the lesser of two evils between IMPERFECT BILLS and NO BILLS AT ALL.

  • This guy reminds me of meathead from Archie Bunker. He talks a lot of nonesense and hysteria but doesnt back anything up with facts.

Horseshit about the colon cancer, if someone has to have some kind of operation to prevent death the hospital is required by law to perform the surgery. This guy is so full of shit its ridiculous. He didnt want to pay for this surgery? So why does everyone have to be penalized. Throat cancer?! He was a smoker!! Why is that Americas fault!!!

  • Republicans have killed thousands of Americans with their stunts and delay theatrics over the last 8 months. Enough is enough. The American people have spoken and they want health care reform with a strong public option. No more Republican nonsense in the US Senate. Call your Senator and tell him you want health care reform passed in the Senate through the reconciliation process.

To Hell with Snowe, Lieberman, and Bauchus.

57 Democrats will vote for health care reform

    DEMAND A VOTE NOW!

  • It is not that simple. It only takes 41 senators to kill the bill by fillibuster. That means one democrat has to vote with all the republicans, on cloture, to kill the bill.

  • The reconciliation process is a maneuver to get around a filibuster entirely.

It would put the bill up for an up or down vote, and Democrats have 57 Senators who will vote "Aye". The Party of No and 3 Democrats can to to hell and vote No, and the bill will pass because its the will of the majority of American and a majority of the US senate, and a majority in the US house of representatives.

  • I wish this guy was one of my representatives, but there's no way he'd ever get elected in Mississippi. I'm shocked that he got elected in Florida. Please re-elect him when he comes up for it, we need more men like him in Washington D.C.

  • Stage 4 terminal throat cancer.....smoker maybe? How else does someone get throat cancer.

Anyway, none of this is proof that socialized medicine is what will fix any problems in the health care system. For everyone of those names he morbidly parades there are at least two in every nation with socialized health care who have died for any number of reasons which also could have been preventable.

  • With what facts do YOu have for that convenient peice of refutation

"at least two in every nation with socialized health care...any number of reasons...been preventable"

    what

God curses those who go against his will with socialized medicine and so they will die without the godless healthcare they went against HIS will to sinfully get for themselves.

This is just as rational as what you put on here.

  • Socialized medicine goes far beyond facts, if you were to truly discuss facts you would first start with being intellectually honest with yourself. And if you were you would admit that a 1trillion dollar health care bill to solve what even the demonRATs themsevles say will be a 'savings of 80 billion dollars' is dishonest and a pack of lies. Further is is *zero* proof that socialized medicine saves lives. There is *nothing* nowhere anywhere in any holy books that gaurantees government manda

  • Nothing at all whatsoever in any holy books that calls for government mandated health care. In fact if anything all the holy books tell people to be skeptical of government. Even the Founding Fathers said so.

No, the only people who call for 'trusting government' are the G-dless themselves, throughout history only tyrants call for the masses to trust the government. Being the stupid little drone that you are I wouldnt expect you to understand. You believe what some stupid congressjerk drone

  • drones on about rattling off names because he was programmed to parrot the same talking points handed down to him from the elected community organizer.

This congressjerk has the nerve to invoke the holocaust to put puntuation to what is nothing more than a list. The holocaust was a state endorsed political ideology to execute masses of people for political expediency. This creep wants to bring a moral equivalent to suggest that lack of health care equals genocide. Completely disregarding tha

  • that people here have something called *free will*. If someone chooses to be a lifetime smoker then later gets lung cancer thats called tough luck. I will not be penalized because some junky couldnt practice self-control.

  • Thunder is a dooch.

  • @ThunderAppeal well hopefully you won't lose your job because of the recession you're in because you're country is too afraid of government control, and hopefully that won't mean you then won't be able to afford health insurance if you get sick, also because of your childish fear of scary socialism. but then again there's only 50 million without coverage, and a 5/6 chance of winning the lottery is acceptable to you. it's like playing russian roulette with a revolver, literally.

  • @kozerfrost Fuck you and fuck your commie shit eating family you fucking faggot. No one was talking to you. The only reason you fucking canadians live in any type of peace is because of the security blanket America offers you by just having existing next to us. No one fucking asked you about your fucking opinion asshole, stay in your fucking canada you little fag.

  • @ThunderAppeal you make think you're funny now, but i'll be laughing when you're yet another name on that list.

  • Powerful stuff.

  • hahahahha grayson 2012, you kook

  • When I go to the hospital I yell and scream so they treat with no questions asked, then i just walk out and not a pay a dime.

I shouldn't have to do that....

  • 5:45 There IS a death tax in the United States, and the collector is the hospital.

  • Im against Universal Health care but we definitely do need Reform like CRAZY! This is fucking madness! I dont have insurance and im scared i may need it soon! What the fuck am I gonna do if I break an arm or something?! Am i really gonna be stuck with a crazy high bill!!?? Fuck I'm getting so fed up with this country of CROOKS!! The company CEO's get rich off their ass while I struggle to live in my house and put myself through school!! What the hell is wrong with this picture?!

  • you slaves gotta learn not to get sick.

your elected leaders needs a raise.

  • thanks dude!

  • Thank you Mr. Grayson.

  • Thanks for doing this Grayson. You've turned the issue into a moral one. It's not about money, Obama, or socialism. It's about saving lives.

  • Exactly. Thank you Grayson.

  • Health Care reform now. Grayson 2012.

  • Grayson 2012

  • Do these republicans have no heart? How can you fight for the high insurance cost? We know why, because the republican party make more money from these insurance sompany, than their actual job, so they take the money rather than let people live! My grandma and my uncle are both victims of this. It's been 8 years and I still hurt from my graqndma's death. It really ruined alot in my life. I don't understand why anyone will fight this bill. It's unexcusable! Or it's because they're garbage.

  • republicans wouldn't spit on their mother without charging her if she were on fire. republicans are the lowest form of life on this planet and the only good republican doesn't exist. fuck em

  • Republicans aren't real Americans. They just pretend to be one, solely in the interests of huge corporations.

  • They fight because they get huge contributions from these companies. We're talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars. It's really that simple. Money over people.

  • that's the only thing that runs through my mind when i think of these republicans. no one that has any shred of empathy would fight the bill.

  • @adrya1983 Youre a retard, youre doing nothing more than perpetuating some idiotoic hysteria. You arent talking about any kinds of facts. Youre the one whose garbage if you think that the government would have 'extended' your grandmas life. Maybe she should have taken better care of herself and not have been a smoker.

Go back to mexico if you dont like things here, oh whats the matter, they dont offer health insurance in mexico? You fucking shit.

  • @ThunderAppeal 1st, I'm American, I don't have to go anywhere. 2nd. Talking about go back to Mexico, wasn't your great president, Ronald Reagan, who gave illegals amnesty, when their was no immigration problem at the time? I wonder why he did that? (Cheap labor). I know nothing about you, other than you're coward who hides behind his computer to talk tough and I know is a snot and I would, without a doubt hand you your ass. Fucking racist, go fuck your sister again, that will make you feel good.

  • @adrya1983 If you dont like the idea of what you think is being exploited for cheap labor then go back to mexico or wherever you came from. Oh, whats that? They dont pay nearly as much in mexico as they do in the US? Oh whats that? Mexico is infested with corrupt governments and police? Oh whats that? There is no such thing as health care in mexico? I'm not racist, I'm telling you the truth that you dont want to hear. Youre some arrogant little punk who expects everything to be handed to u

  • @ThunderAppeal Yes, Mexico does have health insurance and a social security. The cost for healthcare is way cheaper. What would cost us 1,000 dollars here, it would cost 100 there, for the same results. Yes, Mexico is corrupt, just like most politicians in the US and besides Ron Paul, all Republicans are corporate owned. Didn't you just see them protected and apologizing to BP? They want to privatize Social Security, the postal service, and Medicare! They refuse to give tax cuts to 98% of us!

  • @adrya1983 Then if its so great over there then go. Whats stopping you? You dont like the way things are done here, go back then. US politicians arent nearly as corrupt as mexican politicians are. The demonRATS are owned by warren buffet and george soros and the banks. How do you think BO got elected in to office? A no one with no history suddenly had millions of dollars handed to him to run campaign ads for morons like you. LOL. Discussing anything with you is beneath me.

  • @ThunderAppeal People like yourself are completely ignorant to the facts. I told you first the I am American, born and raised, I don't have to go anywhere. You see the republican'ts spew their talking points and they have no real ideas to get us out of the whole they dug us in. You're beneath me, if I was to ever see you in real life, I would take you to any alley, knock you out, then piss on you, because you're a worthless P.O.S. Go suck Mitch McTurtles sausage fool. I win, you lose...again.

  • @adrya1983 The Republicans are fighting for high insurance costs?! LOL Do you even read the news? Healthcare costs are skyrocketing as Obamacare takes effect. The Republicans were fighting for market-driven, competitive healthcare solutions such as buying policies across state lines and tort reform. Of course, they went nowhere thanks to the closed-mindedness of Pelosi & Reid.

  • @jimbad05 The public option was a better deal, but the Republicans blocked it....

  • @adrya1983 Yea, because it was proven to be an absolute failure in Massachusetts. No other state cared to adopt it, but we were supposed to force it upon the entire nation?

Why the constant liberal opposition to federalism? Why not let Massachusetts and California do their thing, while Texas and New Mexico do their thing. Why must you enforce everything at the federal level?

Liberalism - ideas so good, they have to be mandatory.

  • @jimbad05 Yeah, I'm sure the private insurance companies are just dying to help the people. You're a complete idiot. You know, healthcare must already be affordable, we should've left everything the same. That's what the right is fighting for. USA, #37 in the world in healthcare. Yes, we have the best doctors, so good, no one can afford them. What a Con.

  • @adrya1983 If our healthcare was so awful before, why did the leaders of Canada and Great Britain fly to the US to have their procedures done? If that WHO survey you cited were valid, shouldn't they have stayed in their own countries? Why would they come to #37 on the list for treatment.

Because it's a biased pos survey, and it's no basis to nationalize 1/6 of our economy!

As always, socialism is for the people, not for the socialist. The elites will always receive great care.

  • @jimbad05 Like I told you in my last post, we have the best doctors, but no one can afford the care. Like you said, the leaders of Canada and Europe. Not the working class people.

  • @adrya1983 So you want to sacrifice excellent doctors for expanded care. Many doctors are already leaving the medical profession, and the remaining medical personnel are going to be severely overworked. The healthcare bill does nothing to address the doctor shortage. Medical schools and the AMA restrict the number of seats available to medical students, when will someone address this? Socialism always brings the lowest common denominator of service to the greatest number of people.

  • @jimbad05 So you're telling me, you would rather a person die, that can't afford coverage, so that the insurance companies, can keep their cost extremely high? Your argument is hard headed, don't get me wrong, the reform passed is garbage, because it doesn't insure that cost will go down and it inforces everyone to buy insurance, most who can't afford it. The only thing good about this, is you can't be turned away do to a pre-existing condition. Republicans blocked the public option.

  • @adrya1983 First, the Republicans blocked nothing. The Democrats had supermajorities. The Republicans didn't even need to show up. The fact is, many moderate and blue dog Dems were uncomfortable with the public option. Secondly, if we're going to address cost, we need not demonize insurance companies. They make a small profit. Blaming them is like blaming the local gas station owner for high gas prices (which liberals also do from time to time.. see, price gouging witch hunts). If we're going to

  • @jimbad05 Ben Nelson is not a Democrat and thank god he is leaving, secondly many blue dogs did vote in the House for the public option because it was an option a market based way of bringing down health care costs. Insurance companies make huge profits, where you get this idea that they make small profits, I have no idea.

  • @adrya1983 address costs, we need to address the doctor shortage and the shortage of other skilled medical personnell. Their wages need to rise to encourage more to enter the profession. We need to be raising payments and reforming malpractice insurance. We need to be pushing the AMA to allow medical schools to offer more seats. We need to create a national insurance market which allows people to shop across state lines for insurance - opening up competition that Obama talked about

  • @jimbad05 I totally agree with everything you just said.

  • @adrya1983 How could you it was all nonsense

  • @jimbad05 I'll address this ill-founded talking point: Because the LEADERS of countries want the best care in the world, which is POSSIBLE here, but not available to everyone, period. It's extremely intellectually dishonest to equate the elite with the people that as you write your little rehearsed memos are dying by their hundreds daily.

But while we're asking questions, why did Republicans make it ILLEGAL to go to Canada for cheaper identical medicine?

Talk about the drug companies, too.

  • @jimbad05 And this 'socialism' jag spewed by morons doesn't wash with people who READ, such as the Constitution.

In the PREAMBLE, one of the primary purposes of government, PERIOD, is to 'promote the general welfare', not in the sense of a handout, but in the sense of 'GENERAL', meaning for everyone. Ultra-capitalism, not socialism, is what keeps life-saving treatment out of the hands of the poor and middle class.

It RUINS them. Don't just posture. THINK.

  • @jimbad05 Seriously, you don't live on this planet. Although it's a hotbed topic, medicinal marijuana, legal in a number of states, saw the Republicans crapping on states' rights, using Federal law to prosecute and bypass state laws for people who are sick and dying.

    So how about this:

Why don't you put away the crapola illusion that it's about PARTY, instead of the reality, which is that this is a weapon of class warfare?
