i was there too! i can't lie...i cried there & now...this was an amazing moment. i love the singing of the crowd, we were like a chorus that night for America.
This was the most emotional concert I'd ever been to. It was only a month after 9/11 in Madison Square... I was in tears the whole time. It was so powerful... to see fans of U2 from every generation (I was there with my sister and my father) I remember during "Pride" Bono had 20,000 people clapping their hands over their head sermon-style. It was cathartic and healing for a hurting people.
I was at this show. This song always makes me tear up, but that night was unforgettable
