Haha, kidding. But I think this project is a ploy to limit the power of angels, because you'll get a stack overflow of probe values if you get either this or covert ops. Is there a patch that fixes this bug?

I suppose the H-S Algorithm was considered overpowered, so they created this counterpart.

Not that it's often come up for me - if you're advanced enough to have won the race to HSA, you usually have enough of a tech head-start to easily take the Terminus too.

well.. prefer university with HSA and NT. These 2 almost [ALMOST I SAID] deny their beggining vulnerability to probe teams, and disallowing other's PTs to become too strong ;] AEs are actually too dangerous to allow this SP to get into other's hands if you already have HSA ;]

I spoke too soon :D, HSA is Hunter-Seeker Algorithm and NT obviously Nethack Terminus. Then PT must be Probe Team but AE is still unclear.

AE is Algorithmic Enchancement - main Nethack Terminus effect. If one has all probe teams with AEs, this allows them to get another upgrade instead of buing them one after another. That's what I've ment ;]

Yeah.. it is dangerous to let another faction use that against your Hunter-Seeker Algorithm. I almost HAVE to deny all other playing factions this project in order to protect myself from probe attacks. I use my own modded faction, but I didn't put any resistance or weakness to PROBE on it, so both projects really hel p in the long run.

@matsku84 Algorithmic enhancement. It gives Probe teams a way to circumvent the Hunter seeker alortithm... but it's not easy unless you probe teams have Algorithmic enhancement as all possible morale modifiers. Helps to have a deep purse and high probe rating. :)
