At 1:46 Vettel isn’t comparing himself to Senna in terms of ability. In the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix Senna suffered a Gearbox problem but somehow managed to keep the car going and finish the race.
Vettel suffered a Gearbox problem early in this race and had to short shift on every corner every lap. That’s what he meant when he said “I feel like Senna in 91.”
