Hendrickson's false premise of why monopolies are bad is complete nonsense!! Monopolies are bad because they break the free market because they can manipulate their market!
Monopolies may service low prices. They may innovate, but only enough to disuade competition. That innovation may be to manipulate laws, bribe, coerce, or corrupt, then that's where they'll innovate and that innovation isn't often in the public good (which is why corporations are allowed to exist).
This is a REAL eye opener, I have always been big on capitalism, and this makes me understand things sooooo much easier now. It's a big help, THANKS!!!
