I found the version for windows 7. make it now, cuz i was looking for the one u got and then i was redirected to adobe site, then it said cs5 for windows and not cs4. so now all i need really is to figure how to get a serial code. update the vid please

i had photoshop cs2 on vista ultimate and it ran just fine. Now i have windows 7 ultimate and tried to install the older versions(lol!) and yes it wont let me.. but yeah ill download photoshop cs4 and ill see what will happen.. thanks for the info's and stuff.. not really helped but yes its kinda useful ;)

if i install windows 7 7100 on the pc i am building will it bet better than vista 64 bit in preformance in photoshop only >> dont care about games

I no longer use the beta im on the RC now. You can download windows 7 RC (7100) in 64 bit. I'd say the performance would be better because Vista in my opinion is a resource hog. But remember the RC will expire at some point in time and then you will have to install Vista or XP or a Hackintosh.

oh lol u got all the sims2. I used to play that shit all the time, such a waste of good time. and I needed photoshop CS4 soo bad on my laptop that it wasnt working so I re installed vista and it doesnt work cause I havent got SP1 and I had downloaded SP2 and that needs SP1 to run. such a fucking pain in the ass to use vista. and windows 7 when instlling these apps.

which version? CS4 i know runs right out of the box on win7. Which Virtual Machine tool are you using?

I used to use virtual machines back on XP when I was new to OS's. I would install Linux on it, but i hated how everything didnt have access to my full system resources. I like dual boots better, except I keep forgetting to set Windows as my default OS.

Virtual machines rock though, especially since its self contained so you can check out suspicious files for viruses and not damage your main OS

YEEEEEEEEEEEEES! The Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended on VirtualBox installed in Fedora 10. And the memory for the guest (Win7) was only 700MB RAM and 20GB of hard disk x).

Yes, I say "was" 'cause I format my PC when I installed Mandriva (but thanks an error I return on Fedora).
