@LosGatosBlancos no it is not irimi nage ... you dont finish the throw with entering but with turning so you dont have entering throw -> you donthave irimi nage I hope this helps
@sunreaper2 Athough that's true what you say, but that's also true what i did, because in several dojos, (4eg. in mine it is called irimi nage) while in others irimi nages are called kokyu nages even those ones that include entering
(just look at Christian Tissier's irimi nages, he does not always enter behind the partner at all)
@LosGatosBlancos You cant get my point... Each technique in Aikido begins with irimi. Even tenkan begins with irimi... What makes irimi nage Irimi nage is the entering before the finishing of the throw. It doesnt matter if you get behind your opponent or not it depends on the situation. If you dont throw him with entering then it is not irimi nage. To tell you this way. Irimi nage is kokyu nage but kokyu nage is not always irimi nage.
@sunreaper2 Your statement makes sense indeed. It was hasty to say that it's irimi, I admit it also can be called kokyúnage. However I have no intention arguing about this issue anymore.
why is uke stopping the attack befor reaching it's target ?
