There's no disagreement there, Emblemz. I think they were trying to mooch off of the success, nothing more. I mean, to make a game adaptation, you need that familiarity to know what the hell you're talking about. That's the whole purpose of it.

Actually it's pretty hilarious how much defense Romero gets when he has documented for over a decade that his current work sucks compared to what he gained legendary status for. Face it, Paul Anderson's series may have sucked, but Romero wouldn't have made it any better. This trailer was great, unfortunately it has NOTHING to do with the incredibly awful script he wrote for the film adaptation.

Capcom was really impressed with George's works and wanted him to direct the first re movie.
he declined because he doesnt want to do with anything or another zombie movie, "especially" when its not his work (re).
well if you ask me, i think he would done a fucking superb job at it. he knows how to make it atmospheric, scary, and awesome..

Yes, they were different from the games, but sucked in actual quality, and while I agree that the same story twice wouldn't be interesting, it would have been better to see this world from the eyes of a different director.

@cjdakahank i would love to be able to expierence the story with my friends in a 2 hour setting and no a 6 hour game. the reason for a game adaption is for audiences new and old to expierence a great story. if youre going to adapt a game the key word is adapt. when they adapt books into movies they dont change everythign and they sure as fuck dont introduce one of the main characters in the fourth movie. at least STICK to the fucking mansion and s.t.a.r.s. not fake ass "Alice" shit. fuck paul
