  • Lol no one on youtube actually hits anything, they just attack the air. If you use any of these moves on a object, the nunchaku will rebound back and therefore there is a certain style to make sure your arm is out the way of the rebounding nunchaku.

  • @grandmastermalav Thank you for echoing my preaching! So many people really don't know that! There's hope for humanity yet!

  • @killyouin1punch Humanity can be hoped for, but chaning as a race of this planet will bring about humanity. You may want to check out my nunchaku form of bruce lees performance. thanks for replying.

  • surely if you learn to wrap it around your body, the only person you're attacking is yourself?

  • Okinowan horse bridle. Good basic drills for the beginner. ps. I'm diggin the vids John. ;)

  • Also, your a hypocrite, you were doing some whirling yourself

  • There's one flaw in your theory, "When you see people in tournaments and back yard black belts using the nunchucku, typically you will see them spinning around and it almost looks like a baton whirling segment." These "back yard black belts" are people who are messing around with the Nunchuks and making a complete fool of them selves.. and saying they whirl them around in tournaments is a bit narrow minded? This "whirling" is called Freestyle!! It has a name!!

  • @Fakeblad

I think they do MORE than just whirling them around. We do see some kata form in this WHIRLING. It's a bit of an insult as I happen to do this "WHIRLING" and it's not to be taken for granted. This is a very graceful way of using the Nunchuks, if not the PROPER way of using them.
