  • this is not even close to the Vinnie Vincent version..

  • i like vinnie vincent better then this one

  • ☺

  • ♥

  • John is so cuttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome norum

  • i like this song very much

jonh norum did a really good job

  • John Norum..one of the best guitar players in the world!

    No Daubt!

  • do you guys think that Jeff Scott Soto's guitar solo for the demo of back on the streets is ripped from John Norum's version?

  • JSS demoed this for Vinnie Vincent.

If anyone ripped the guitar solo it was John Norum who covered Vinnie's song. Göran Edman, the singer showed John this song because he had done an audition for Vinnie, but couldn't join him because of a contract.

  • Thanks for sharing this song !! So awesome

  • great song great guitarplayer norum still is. totally underrated.

  • yes im back, back on the streets, yeah this song rocks and so does john norum

  • great song

  • John Norum rocks! This version is so much better than Vinnie's version. Maybe if mark ASlaughter sang it it would've been better. That Edman Goran is a pretty good singer. This is a really good song, period!

  • I've always wondered about the connection here. How did John Norum end up doing this Vinnie song?? Goran would be that connection. He did a bunch of demos with Vinnie way back in the day and probably brought a copy of it to John. It is definitely a great song. Having heard Vinnie's version first, of course, I like that one better. But this is a gret version too.

  • Great song!

    Saw John Norum twice

Last Sunday I say hem at Bospop in Holland

With Europe! Respect for those guys!!

  • It's not important who wrote it. The important thing is that it's an amzing song with great musicnas on alla versions though I like this one the best. If you're a real music lover you don't care about who got credit or the rights for a song you care about how it sounds and let the rest be the problem for those who made the song. don't get me wrong it's important ofcourse but it's not our buisness.

  • MY DAD FU.KING WROTE THIS SONG look it up before u say other people did it.

1982 : "Back On The Streets" : written by Vinnie Vincent and Richard Friedman. Demoed by KISS. With Paul Stanley on lead vocals considered for release on the album. Prior to KISS the song demoed in 1981 by Vinnie Vincent and 1982 by Warrior.

  • These guys kick axx!

  • who is the lead vocal on this song ??

  • goran edman

  • thanks

  • Who sang this song in this particular video? And please can someone tell me if Vinnie Vincent sing this, cause a guy tell me that this was the only song in wich Vinnie made lead singing, is this true?

  • Vinnie & Robert did a duet on The Invasion CD

  • Thanks dude :D

  • your welcome

  • The history of the song is, Goran Edman wrote it

when he sang with Vinnie Vincent. Later he appeared

on vocals with John Norum and the song finally got

    released.

  • Vinnie Vincent / Richard Freedman

    wrote this song.

  • Norum's version is so much better.

  • I agree on the rocording versions. Vinnies Live version was better once he got Mark Slaughter to sing it. Mark really gave VVI the sound it needed & thats why the second CD was so much better then the first

  • No...it is a Vinne Vincent song.

He wrote it for Kiss when he played with them...but it did´nt went up on an album then(although Kiss recorded it and its avalible on bootleg).

  • actually no cover of Vinnie Vincent. John's song, but Vinnie Vincent got the rights to it, the credit. It was some kind of deal.

  • Oh how the heart can break!

  • Vinnie Vincent cover...but the thing is that John Norum rules & Vinnie Vincent sucks!
