  • @mttjklly Alef is never found in between letters of a word, it's only used as a first letter of the word . and in foreign words.

  • I confuse so the letter T under the letter is AH like in SHO MAH and the under line under the letter _ is EH like in SHO MEH

  • You have made it so easy for me to understand this. I didn't think I would ever be able to learn Hebrew. I have hope now. Thank you so much for this.

  • I'm not easily confused by learning new languages, either living or ancient ones, but THIS here is is mind boggling lol. There must be easier ways to learn this language.

  • Not supposed to say veyt and beyt Just say beyt , if u r asking someone for the ABC he is not ganna tell u the veyt ...

  • @MrsCondee cuz he's not a Hebrew speaker

  • @MrViTopol ...well, that would explain it. =) Thanks!

  • I'm confused...how can "dalet" have an "a" sound like "pal"? It isn't in the vowel chant song. Thanks!

  • this is so easy to follow. I'm really trying to learn Hebrew and I'm taking down these lessons one day at a time. Thanks!

  • Very informative! Thanks for the post!

  • For a beginner like myself, your videos are priceless. They are so simple and easy to understand. I am following your advice to the letter and not jumping ahead, but rather spending about a half hour each day on each lesson. I am loving this...Thanks.

  • THANK YOU SO FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DO THIS FOR US! GOD BLESS!

  • That´s REALLY didactic !Todah rabah !

  • very good very well done congratulation on ur great job

  • 1:44 abavagada :D!!!

  • This is really helpful! I wanted to learn hebrew but I never really understood what wikipedia and others were saying, so really, you are a great help! Thank you.

(Maybe now I can achieve my goal to learn 10 languages before i'm 19/20. I'm 16 now, and this will be my seventh language. You don't, by any chance, teach arabic? ) But really, Thanks!!!!!!!!

  • i think you forgot to mention in the first video that you have to read the letters from right to left but i got it now

  • @xxnivotionxx Actually, he did mention it in the first video :)

  • Quickly...Thanks. This is real helpful for me.

  • this isv the end of lesson 2 so i owe you this second THANK YOU that i just typed & it came right from bottom of my heart; how generous of you to want and thus endeavor to teach God`s language to a philistine that i am.

  • wait I didn't get the part of petach ..

what's the difference between the mark( T )and( - )ander the letters ??

    aren't they the same ??

  • shalom aalayhom..

    is really nice work.

  • 3:41 you hear the pop can get set down.

  • Thanks for your wonderful work!

I want to be able to at least read along at synagogue and eventually pick up more and more hebrew. It's hard to learn a new language at 24 when you have no exposure to it previously, but these videos are very great in their depth and simplicity.

You have done a great job!

  • if u know arabic u will easy to get hebrew.

  • @sQuba99 it's true it will be easier to learn Hebrew than other languages, cuz the Alphabet is almost alike ..

  • The first word is Abba= Father! :D

  • thanks for ur help sir..my foreknowledge of arabic really helped me learn alot faster...it is an irony that that the arabs and jews are in conflict, despite the cultural similarities-both religion wise and language wise...i have no qualms to call myself a jew, that is one who praises God, or muslim, one who submits to God...sure, what israel is doing today is pure genocide, but will that statement make me an anti-semite? here i am learning hebrew my jewish brethen..

  • @Heartgold92 im a Filipino, not a jew, not arabic, but as a christian i want to learn how Jesus speak

  • i wanna learn hebrew so i can read the original bible..

  • wat are tha differences between tha two?

  • am confused now. there are five vowels... MOH MA MEH ME MOO, so far in lesson one we've covered the kamatz (T) which is this shape at the bottom of the letter, an in this lesson we've covered the pesach, which also gives the same sound as the kamatz? so if we were writing these letters and wanted to include the vowels, how would we know if we would write down a kamatz at the bottom or a pesach? Any help appreciated. thanks

  • I don't know a thing about Hebrew (I have only seen these couple of lessons) but I would assume you just have to learn the spellings in the same way in English we can spell: WEAR and WHERE differently and they sound identical, also in other languages this happens...you just know with practice and study.

  • @Clairenna incorrect, because those two words have different meanings. Although there are definitely quirky differences in English that you just have to learn. :)

  • In my completely non-professional understanding, those vowels at one time did have different sounds. However, they've been lost over the centuries.

Same thing with "Aleph" and "Ayein". They once had sounds too. If you study Arabic, you can get an idea of how it used to sound.

  • @662991 yes, am confused also.. between kamatz and pesach.. please help

  • @tontion I, too would apperciate a little clearing up.

Is it just as simple that they are essentially the same sound? I guess this begs the question : why do they both exist?

  • Gracias otra vez !!!!

  • wow! this is a great video ... :D

  • Great job!!

Thank you for taking the time to explain each and every aspect of this beautiful language!!

  • awesome thanksss

  • it is really obvious that you took a lot of time and hard work to make it as simple as possible and I thank you from all my heart for it.....it's very easy to me to understand...maybe bcoz I know arabic...but yea......thank you sooo soo much....ur vids are the best among the Hebrew Lessons compilation

  • I speak 5 languages including arabic which is my native language but I wanna learn this beautiful language so bad and I m getting frustrated :(

  • actually if you proceeded with the language you will find out that it's taking a lot from arabic and english

  • So it will be easier to learn Arabic? I want to learn that too!

  • @ilikeapplanas learning arabic is a great idea

  • I can speak Arabic fluently and it's definitely not easier than hebrew, but if you can speak one of them you'll find the other one rather easy.....and they're both very beautiful languages so it will be great to speak both of them ! Good luck :)

  • @pofpofa i agree i speak arabic and i hope i can speak hebrow also

  • excellent stuff - seems u took great pain in creating this ! many thanks :)
