the only problem that i have with going off road is that i find it too easy to valve bounce which is just messed up

Thats common on the old corollas, and the more of a thrashing that you give em, the worse it gets. cant easily kill them though, mine has just ticked over 640,000 with no worries and it cops a floggin.
