@TheWolverine4life Says the poor welfare bitch from michigan LOL! Unions treating you well loser fuck! You lose. I'll keep my money. Thank you loser. I have money, what the fuck do you have loser bitch? You have nothing LOL!
@Rwings73 I have more money than you'll have you fucking goddamn child molester. Bring it on. You have nothing but little boys' pictures. Talk all tough on the internet huh? Tough in Mommy's basement. Say all this shit to people's faces and you'll end up dead. You have no balls and no brains. Here's hoping you die.
@TheWolverine4life You have nothing LOL! Poor little bitch you! Michigan lol! Dumb ass poor pathetic loser! Are you black minority bitch? And you want to talk firearms little bitch? Money buys mothefucker! Poor bitches like you need welfare, poor little bitch!
@Rwings73 I have money and guns and your mother. I just fucked that bitch. She was loose.
You are just stupid. I live in the best state and the best house and drive a car you could never afford. Now go lick your dad's jizz off your brother's ass.
@Rwings73 I have a college degree you fat fuck. Michigan is the best place to live dumbass. Now go back to licking your mom's used tampons and shoving them up your ass.
@TheWolverine4life Broke ass welfare state LOL! Best place to live, Michigan? Have you ever been anywhere but? My guess is you don't travel much (airlines and hotels don't take food stamps for trade). College degree? Did you get it online LOL? How much do you owe in student loans douche bag? Are you an occutard as well?
@TheWolverine4life Think about that when you are dying and what you and your JET did forfor the life on earth that will certainly be here when you are becoming worm food.....
The first American movie I ever saw where there was tenderness between two men. You know, in the West, we don't cotton to that kind of thing. And then there was Midnight Cowboy. Beautiful in it's humanity. One of my favorites of all time.
How simple life was back then, A brilliant film & great characters in Joe buck & Ratso. just don't make them like that anymore; Brilliant sound track to the Movie"Everyone's talking at me" Harry Nilsson!
this song is true americana.......like the best films, these songs tell the story of america at a time when things were changing.........i like the version dwight yoakam did as well although tough to cover unless your a cowboy........
Awesome film... awesome acting by Voigt and Hoffman... even Vera Miles was unforgettable! John Schlessinger a great director was just happen too be openly gay..
@itlivesin what a load. There is plenty of non commercial bands here in America. This is not an America Europe thing. Just a non Mainstream thing. I have been to Europe there is not much differnce if anything the pop music is more popular in Europe than it is here.
@seanmahon101 yes! your best being Agalloch for Oregon, but as for pop maybe? but metal/ non comercial has the same kind of following. When does America have black metal bands on breakfast shows? Not trying to fight just want to understand
we all need that F...ck you moment in our lives. the fact that it all ends bad does not matter. If you do not have that moment you will dies regretting it. And if you don't regret it then you will never know the intense feeling of the moment.
I don't know what happened with Jon Voight's acting career recently but he certainly was amazing in the late 60s up until Runaway Train. After Runaway Train it just wasn't the same..
The song is just called "Everybody's Talking" and it was written and originally performed by Fred Neil, the NYC folksinger who gave Bob Dylan his start, but by the end of the '60s retired to work with dolphins in Florida.
This is one of my all time favorite films. I love this scene, it reminds me of when I was leaving Texas and taking a Grey hound bus out to the west coast. I was bubbling with excitement to finally to be leaving Texas even though I didn't know a soul in California or what to expect when I got there.
@GiovannaNYC no I was not disappointed. It was like pulling a cork out my ass after so many years of being uptight and for the first time I could breath. I was allowed to be myself and no one cared. And I am still here and loving it.
I love this film, and I love this opening scene.... but I always thought that this scene was a little like a really bad low budget exploitation movie... only slightly though.... please don't hate me....
Angelina = Dad in looks, know they have had their problems but he surely contributed to her beauty along with her stunning mother, no wonder she looks like that :-))
What is the history of this 8 min youtube video? Is it a trailer to the movie, or is it something that the poster edited and put together themselves???
Besides being a great movie including the soundtrack it's also a historical record of what America looked and felt like in the late 1960's especially New York City before when it went through its grime period prior to cleanning up in the mid-1990's.
Such a wonderful film. I keep coming back for the music but it's perfect in every way. Joe Buck's slide is tragic in the true Greek sense. I desperately want to know what happened next but am satisfied that I don't know.
@chownful I think a lot of it the fact that she is so polite and unassuming I live in a small town about 10.000 population and I realize times have changed but everybody nowdays is more like the bus driver . that smile of hers I guess really goes with her eyes.she kinda reminds me of Donna Reed simply elegant..And to me there is a purity to her..You dont see that today..
excuse me mister excuse me perfect line from a perfect lady can you compare her her to anybody else in todays world??? please reply i would like to hear anybodies response thanks....
@spudone1000 What makes her remind of you such innocence? Is it the way she is dressed, or something else? I dont think she is the most beautiful lady, but that's my opinion. There are much better looking ladies that are in this film :P
I listen to this and i tune out I love the old cars and thnk the mother on the bus is more beautiful than todays so called it girls to me there is no comparison she is tops... her eyes remind me of brandi carlisle am I right??? pure innocence that is my opinion
This is so cool. This whole opening scene was done in my hometown of Big Spring Texas. LOL. I haven't lived there in many years, but this sure brought back some memories. When I was just a kid, my dad and I would go have coffee at that little cafe. It was really a great little town back then. I even remember when they filmed this. It was the biggest thing that happend to Big Spring.
BEAUTIFUL song, Harry Nilsson's voice and that banjo were born to be together. And I agree with Mr55go, best opening sequence, too bad it's all doom and gloom from that point on.
When I was a young boy my mother would sing this sone to me. I remember dancing with her in 1970-1971 during the Derek Sanderson show in Boston. When i got married, this was the song we danced to. Great Song.

just want this movie (im 20) and i gotta say its won the best movies i ever seen. I was really feeling those dudes and i was hopping they go to their goal.
Questa meravigliosa canzone non è di John Barry (supervisor) ma di Fred Neil, e non è stata scritta per il film "Midnight Cowboy 1969" ma semplicemente inserita nella colonna sonora del film, cantata da Nilsson (released 1966)
just making sure this movie is worth watching before downloading it i am glad to inform it make' the grade/ use to alway's see it advertised on fox classic's but they never played it lol
@tom91775 Wow, you pretty much summed it up! I have to make my children sit and watch the beginnings of the classics so they can get a sense of character development.
Hello, I happen to have a real 90 minute screenplay ready to go. It's not gritty like Midnight Cowboy but it's a love story, w/allot of laughs, a real plot, no special effects, easy to cast, easy to clothe, cheap to film, NO CROWD SCENES, so hardly any extras. It has wide appeal and can gross 20 X's what it is filmed for. Plus it comes with it's own hit song on my channel called "That's Where the Money Is" hey Mozel Tov.

Questa meravigliosa canzone non è di John Barry (supervisor) ma di Fred Neil, e non è stata scritta per il film "Midnight Cowboy 1969" ma semplicemente inserita nella colonna sonora del film, cantata da Nilsson (released 1966)

Movies don't get much better than this. Everyone at their peak (Voigt, Hoffman, Barry, Schlesinger). "I'm going where the weather suits my clothes".

Awesome! The cook shouting "Where's that Joe Buck!?!?" is wearing a Mrs. Baird's cap! Still love me some Mrs. Baird's bread after all these years!

I like the sign on the diner that states "world's largest hot dog." It's a subtle message about cowboy's tool.
