@andyandyyipyip wait a while, and they might make Pulse Rifle a power set, then whip(from that demon MM set). It all has to start as something, then it evolves over time into something greater. You started with Pistols, Dual Wield, and Empty Clip. Now you have whole set. Electric became a control set, kinetic became belee. I would not be surprised if they made whips, staves, and pulse rifles their own sets(excited as hell, but not really surprised).

@andyandyyipyip those pistols was not even usable only to those who pre-ordered to get them early thats what the website said now there in game for everyone to use. If you used them before they was even put on pre-order, just like demonlings for MMs then you must been content hacking the stuff and getting it without buying it pre-order or waiting for it or must be playing on secretly private server with all the contents.

@andyandyyipyip if its not "new" then why was it not in game for the rest of us before they was even in public or added to pre-order. Only one way you can use them that early is if your developer of the team, which i highly dough you are not part of a dev team. you can only get those pistols if you pre-ordered city of heroes going rogue i didn't pre-ordered so i had to wait for them. Theres just no way someone can play contents so early before even added to pre-order.

@Gabumon404 Meh, the gang type master mind had dual pistol usage, but those were just for basic supporting your minions. This looks to be an entire power arc focused on gun slinging, which looks way more fun. ^_^

I like Dual Pistols. I kinda thought that wielding 2 guns was gonna be weak, but it is pretty hot. My current DP Blaster on Freedom is level 29. I don't like DP Corrupters because the Scourge Ability doesn't kick in as often and it makes them VERY open for attacks. I personally think Blasters get the better half of it. I hope they buff Archery.

Have a toon on Virtue now who's a dual pistol blaster, currently at level 31. He's fun. I like the KB but some pugs complain so I switch to toxic which can mow down even CoT. DP is a rather potent power set but there's already rumors they're gonna nerf it. Too much of a good thing.

And archery IS weak tea. Can't solo w/it as well as other power sets, and when someone else on a team is using archery.. it's just weak tea. Looks cool tho.

@ZachsMind Nerf DP? Never happen, because DP has the worst DPA of any blast set. Set has nowhere to go but up. Great animations, lousy numbers.

@jergsden really? Cuz it doesn't feel DP has the worst DPA of the blast sets when I'm playing one. Then again, I don't understand the numbers of the game. I also tend to team rather than solo.

What would the most ideal blast set be, numerically speaking? Maybe I should create one so I can see the difference? I got an electric/energy blaster to 50 and my current DP blaster is at least as fun as that guy was.

@ZachsMind Most people are fire/fire for damage, I believe, or at least were several years ago. Assault rifle/devices is also good but requires more planning and tactics

i once used archery and force(?). i shot at them from long range, when they came close enough, i used forcebolt, i think it was or maybe it was force punch... anyways, to blow them away and then repeat, after a while it got kinda boring
