Calzaghe tried to arrange fights with both Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones in 2000, and THEY avoided him.
Calzaghe was only three years older than Jones when he murdered him. And Calzaghe was older than Manfredo, Lacy, and Kessler, all of who were highly rated.
That Brit bum Joe Calzaghe, like most White fighters, never fought anyone and when he did fight someone good he waited until the man was old.
When he fought Hopkins, Hopkins was finished as an okay fighter and also when he fought Roy Jones Jr. Roy was 48 years old and Calzaghe was still young.

If he was so soft and couldn't punch, why didn't the opponents simply wade through the slaps then, instead of being backed up and overwhelmed, time after time? When you say Joe only fought fighters past their prime, think about this:
Calzaghe tried to arrange fights with both Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones in 2000, and THEY avoided him.
Calzaghe was only three years older than Jones when he murdered him. And Calzaghe was older than Manfredo, Lacy, and Kessler, all of who were highly rated.

When he fought Hopkins, Hopkins was finished as an okay fighter and also when he fought Roy Jones Jr. Roy was 48 years old and Calzaghe was still young.
