I don't think America's ever been ready for Gravel, it's always been too immature. Gravel has all the great policies of Ron Paul, with none of the crazy.
These rare politicians with integrity like Gravel should do the bait and switch like the mainstream political puppets, but in the other way around.
They should say the typical stuff that the media loves to eat up for campaign footage, because frankly that's the best chance you get a presidency. But when they step into the oval office, do a complete 180 and say "haha, I really wanted to point out how messed up our own government is!" Whoever does that will be my hero.
i am a complete right wing libertarian but i have to say. Its nice to hear people who arent lying propagandists. I would vote for this guy over one of the GOP plastic men (Ron Paul of course excluded) any day

America would have been awesome if we had Gravel right now. I wish he'd re-run, be he's said that his political career is over with his defeat in 2008. It'll be 100 years before we have another chance for a man as good as him again.

I like Mike Gravel, but the second to last clip was not very good. He played the politician and dodged the question about nuclear energy and talked about terrorism. He had some smart things to say, but he got tremendously off topic, which weakened him a little. Otherwise, this is a great collection of Gravel's opinions in 2008.
No, but you said he doesn't know what he's talking about and I ask you why I should believe you. If you know that he doesn't know what he's talking about the surely you must know what he would say if he did know what he was talking about, wouldn't you?

Agreed. Ron Paul vs Mike Gravel would be fantastic. The problem is that Mike will not have the nomination because the freakin' media excluded him from the last 2 debates. Ron Paul will get the hell out of the Middle East. Even our own military gave him the most donations. Prez. Ron Paul and Vice Prez. Mike Gravel.
We need to work harder people. more donations. more hitting the streets. tell your friends neighbors. nlog on myspace. youtube videos. Ron Paul is not going to get the nomination and he will drop out and when that happens we will get a surge of support. but we have to keep afloat til then and thats going to take a lot of work being that its us against the entire system but dont ever think for a moment that we cant beat them because we haveeee something they cant buy or sell. the Truth.
Please vote for someone who is not a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission or who attends Bilderberg Conferences... do some research on the candidates. Be they Republican or Democrat, if they belong to these organisations they don't represent you.
The rest of the world is counting on Americans to vote in someone who is sane, intelligent and trustworthy for a change.
Hillary and Obama are screening comments on their page to approve them before posting them. What a joke! I hope people are smart enough to realize what is and what is NOT being put into their heads.
"This is censorship. This is proof that those candidates don't want to hear it, unless its someone sucking up to them"
Go to face book and vote for gravel on their pole. If you don't have an account just sign up so you can vote. For every vote facebook donates to his campaign. Thanks!
Thanks To You For ANOTHER Informative video Of Mike Gravel, that makes sense and it to the point. I wish You well, I see Gravel and Paul are Truly Concerned for Our great Country.
Mike Gravel and Ron Paul would Make a GREAT Running Team!!! A Truly Bi-Partisan Team ;-)
People keep suggesting that Gravel and Paul should run together, but they forget that they are polar opposites on basically every issue. I mean, come on. Paul doesn't even think there should be a separation of church and state.
where'd you hear that? amazingatheist? i've heard most of paul's congressional speeches, read his articals and nowhere does he mention his religion. i had to go to wikipedia to learn that he was a baptist.
"i've heard most of paul's congressional speeches, read his articals and nowhere does he mention his religion."
Yeah, most people seem to be unaware of his writings about religion. Google "The War on Religion" by Ron Paul. Pay special attention to the line where he says the Founding Fathers envisioned an America in which the churches "eclipsed the state" in power.
If you do a little digging, you'll find a few really chilling things he's said about the place of religion in our society. He believes that the churches should have the responsibility of providing social services such as welfare and education in our society, not the state. His whole platform of decreasing the government's involvement in social services is spun as a measure against big government, but in reality it's just a way to give the churches more power. Really disturbing stuff.
If Gravel could calm down and stop saying I did this and I did that, just say I would do this and not rant and rave and yell. He is a bit too much for me. He needs to take a chill pill and try again in another 4 years.
I love his message, but disagree with the way he sends it. People don't like being yelled at, I just hope people listen. Hes still better then every other Democrat up there.
LOL! Yeah in the debates he gets furious but when he is interviewed he is usually pretty calm. He gets angry listening to the other politicians lie and smokescreen.
Well, I would want to make sure God's will is done. That's what matters. I'd like promoting God to happen to the ends of the earth. Anybody got anything to state? Should we let those Muslims murder each other?
I like this guy, I like his style for the most part - he's kind of inarticulate and borderline insane, but also brings up powerful issues and challenges these candidates in a way they should be.
He's about as popular with the Dems and Ron Paul is with the GOP. Ron Paul is a Constitutionalist and better educator while Gravel tells it like it is. No doubt they are on the same side of the fence regarding the war.
Stop and think! Listen to Mike Gravel! We all know that the governments corrupt, he'll tell you exactly what politicians are up to. He said himself the American people are are smart enough to know the truth! Finally, once and for all he can end of the corruption.
Oh yeah, Mike Gravel really says it like it is. No more Republicans, please. We have seen the mess they have made of the country over the last six years. I want to see more of Mr. Gravel!
the USA needed this guy as president

FightTheElite 4 years ago
Hillary and Obama are screening comments on their page to approve them before posting them. What a joke! I hope people are smart enough to realize what is and what is NOT being put into their heads.

People keep suggesting that Gravel and Paul should run together, but they forget that they are polar opposites on basically every issue. I mean, come on. Paul doesn't even think there should be a separation of church and state.
quiIl 4 years ago
where'd you hear that? amazingatheist? i've heard most of paul's congressional speeches, read his articals and nowhere does he mention his religion. i had to go to wikipedia to learn that he was a baptist.
Spanishfries 4 years ago
"i've heard most of paul's congressional speeches, read his articals and nowhere does he mention his religion."
Yeah, most people seem to be unaware of his writings about religion. Google "The War on Religion" by Ron Paul. Pay special attention to the line where he says the Founding Fathers envisioned an America in which the churches "eclipsed the state" in power.
quiIl 4 years ago
If you do a little digging, you'll find a few really chilling things he's said about the place of religion in our society. He believes that the churches should have the responsibility of providing social services such as welfare and education in our society, not the state. His whole platform of decreasing the government's involvement in social services is spun as a measure against big government, but in reality it's just a way to give the churches more power. Really disturbing stuff.
quiIl 4 years ago
If Gravel could calm down and stop saying I did this and I did that, just say I would do this and not rant and rave and yell. He is a bit too much for me. He needs to take a chill pill and try again in another 4 years.

he's fucking nuts, i admit, but just watching him talk, you can tell that he clearly gives a shit what he says, and it's not political buzzwords.

LOL! Yeah in the debates he gets furious but when he is interviewed he is usually pretty calm. He gets angry listening to the other politicians lie and smokescreen.

He's about as popular with the Dems and Ron Paul is with the GOP. Ron Paul is a Constitutionalist and better educator while Gravel tells it like it is. No doubt they are on the same side of the fence regarding the war.
