  • Good, I like that you share this video, I wish success always discusses how DNA works and recombination works, and how these great discoveries are both advantageous and problematic for medicinal treatment.

  • "On the Take" is a good book. Most of the points he covers in the last 20 minutes are addressed, along with several other points worth considering.

  • DNA models and structures. Really mind buggling.

  • if Parp1 => brca1/brca2 inhibited => stop breast cancer in5%

    what inhibits breast cancer in the other 95%

    in another lecture MYC and KRAS were responsible for 80% of breast cancer. where the patient's own immune system can be manipulated to kill cancer cells, why use chemotherapy? Why weaken the entire immune system which could be manipulated against cancer cells?

  • the last 20 minutes or so were really interesting, don't miss them guys

  • The guy REALLY needs to get some video animation and NOT invoke superman.

  • Ha! I see that you've been thumbed down a bit for this comment, but I have to agree. I love the fact that universities like Stanford are posting great stuff like this, and I think this guy was great. BUT...when I'm sitting in a lecture at my uni and being bored to death by confusing Powerpoint lectures I'm always wishing that they'd just use some of the great animations which can be found on the tube. I didn't think the Superman analogy was particularly helpful either. 5 stars and thumb up 4U :)

  • @wasdom01 Thanks, there are some great animations of this stuff on youtube if you do a quick search.

  • I know, I have a lot of them in my Human Biology playlist :).
